UK band 8udDha bl0od show softer side with transfixing ‘’Signs of Life’’

https://soundcloud.com/william-orpen/signs-of-life/s-mnHQW6BoPqo

Document your every move, just in case you lose. ‘’Signs of Life’’ is the latest single from hard-working Brighton based band, the creative ‘8udDha bl0od’. The new song winds through in your ears to make you think of what you are really doing in this world and being self-aware, just enough, to reinvent yourself when you need to.

‘8udDha bl0od’ really builds this song up nicely here, like during a pool game with friends, waiting for that correct moment to strike and just dominate. The 2nd half of the track is much louder and I feel much better about things, less sad and more positive. This is what the band do so well, they are merely toying with us like all quality acts do.

‘’Signs of Life’’ is once again a totally different song to the rest of their releases. No two singles sound the same and they should be loved and appreciated for their creative wizardry.

8udDha bl0od go deep with new single ‘’dR!nKing’’

https://soundcloud.com/william-orpen/drinking/s-dv7Rov9daXi

Drinking is a part of most cultures, especially in the UK and in the music business especially. At times it goes hand in hand and is easy to get caught up in. Drinking can be lots of fun but also leads to long and lost-lasting effects, if not handled correctly.

The way this new song is mixed is quite brilliant, the producer gets the tone of the track all right. I feel in a trance, like I’ve had a bottle of wine but am completely sober. This gritty road-tripping ball of reflection hits deep as I daydream about previous parties, good and bad. Mostly good, which is a relief.

‘8udDha bl0od’ from lively Brighton in England hit all the right vibes with this new single. I feel quite relieved at the end but don’t want it to end. Perhaps that is the point of this song after all.

The productive band have been constant with their music outputs recently and this track adds to their ever-impressive catalog. A USA tour in 2021 must be on the cards and music promoters must be itching to book this uniquely brilliant band to add to festivals. Opening for a band like MGMT is something I can see for the future.

Brighton’s 8udDha bl0od return with soulful single ’We Still Miss You’’

Now it’s too late to say that we still miss you. This is a feeling that most humans on earth share, roaming with friends and lovers, carefree and happy in that moment. No worries about what tomorrow might bring.

Brighton’s 8udDha bl0od return with this very personal song about missing that special one and they have backing vocals on this new song which is great to see. I’d love to find out who the singer is- she adds a beautiful element to the band’s amazing sound. This is a question that will be answered when I meet the band soon.

’We Still Miss You’ is a terrifically arranged song and it’s one of their strongest releases yet. A true roadtrip song or one shared over a glass of wine together after a long day, the band shows their soulful side on this track.

This is one of my favorite songs from the English band and they are showing more and more maturity after each release. Let’s await more quality offerings and marvel at the creativity.

8udDha bl0od unleash a barrage of dramatic fuzz rock with new single

Brighton-based experimental rock outfit 8udDha bl0od have released a new track (wait for it): ‘x!R.:.W P0WxYx!i!Rxi!: PR!M.:.l 5cR3.:.M: 217:227:237:73:33:32:24:442:224:420; !! + ii = V.’

While the title sounds like it\s ripped straight out of Grimes album notes (and probably childcare guidance for that matter too), experimental rock connoisseur William Orpen has played another strong note on this release.

‘X’ (yes I’m being character-count conservative) is dramatic, heavy soundscape fuzz rock that harks back to Sunn 0) levels of gloom – but formed with a much stronger emphasis on musicality. Yes it’s discordant and harsh, but that will strike a weirdly formed chord with lovers of this type of abrasively out-there sound making,

You can check out ‘X’ on 8udDha bl0od’s Soundcloud account here.

8udDha bl0od shows us their tranquil side with ‘’0n .:. M!55i0n ChR!5 k.:.R.:.C37R.:.ck ii: Fin.:.l ph.:.7.:.57 X’’

With a soothing blend of piano to start the song, you feel at ease & and all your worries dissipate. One of the most fascinating bands of 2020, 8udDha bl0od are in a reflective mood with their latest single.

Looking for inspiration in a harsh world, the band are on a mission to break out and need the beautiful piano to take a step back and fully realize what they have before them. If the band can get their marketing game up to par with their music and direct more listens towards Spotify for example, they would surely have that breakout song. This is what they deserve, millions flocking and immersing themselves in masterpieces.

‘’0n .:. M!55i0n ChR!5 k.:.R.:.C37R.:.ck ii: Fin.:.l ph.:.7.:.57 X’’ is a telling song and one that shows their softer side. Perhaps the boys needed this track to help them realize that it’s ok to show vulnerability- as the true fan will appreciate it & understand.

While we’re used to beguiling doses of experimentalism when we delve into Alternative artist 8udDha bl0od’s tracks their recently released soundscape was chill-inducing.

If you could imagine the soundtrack to a Horror flick set in a Tibetan monastery, you’ll get a good idea of how their latest intensely atmospheric release L3<3lV:iVWh0m7h383ll70ll5;7h3F!n.:.l CUR<38.:.ll.:.?;G0.:5g.:.m8l!ngWi7h7h3 g0dD5:H3lR.:.i53R unfolds.

From the opulent chiming of bells to what can only be described as akin to the sound of rusted chains being dragged across the floor, you’ll hear it all in this indulgently disconcerting piece.

We all have a ‘’Fighting Chance’’ thanks to Brighton’s 8udDha bl0od

https://soundcloud.com/william-orpen/fighting-chance/s-Ip0lUTKPLeY

I have never listened to a band like 8udDha before. Ever. They sound completely different on each song which is such a terrific feat, there should be an award for it.

Released on 4th May 2020, ‘’Fighting Chance’’ is a journey song, best played on a train journey or road trip in the car. I feel very at ease listening to the song and it shows a completely different sound from the band.

I almost get a Radiohead type of vibe and have just realized that ‘8udDha bl0od’ would be the perfect opening act for a gig. The melody is catchy, hauntingly sad but not depressing enough to turn off.

Let’s see what comes next from the fantastic band from Brighton in the rest of 2020 and beyond. They are forging their own path and it’s enjoyable to see the journey.

The ambiently hypnotic soundscape oozes 70s Funk as the colourfully soft progressions make their way through the epic 20+ minute long track. The extended duration may be daunting to some, but each anaesthetically sweet second oozes a sublime amount of catharsis.

Progressive singles from 8udDha bl0od never disappoint, and 8illY 8lU35 Y So Sad Smile; 17’5 .:. kin:. 0f M.:.g!k: 5cH!20pHR3n3.:.53 was definitely no exception. It may take a while for the track to break into an immersive feat of spacey Psych Rock, but all good things come to those who wait.

Spiritual awakening 8udDha bl0od style with new song ‘’Only Water 22;11;33: Y!n & y.:.ng; M37 H3R0!n3 7h3 1778’’

With the Amazonian sounding drums at the beginning and the raw guitar riff, this is an experimental song that feels like we are the band’s friends, lucky enough to be on the couch- sipping on a cold beverage and listening to the next big thing live at work.

The Brighton Psych Pop/Rock boys are back and this time they turn up the heat real high that it’s steaming on the speakers. They really let it all out, not holding back anything or for anyone. It doesn’t even matter that the lyrics are hard to decipher, the guitar skills and drum elements are absolutely incredible. This track finds the band in top form and we are just lucky to be here for the ride.

The unique style of ’Only Water 22;11;33: Y!n & y.:.ng; M37 H3R0!n3 7h3 1778’’ blows me away and this is the tribal anthem of 2020 right here.

8udDha bl0od – L3m0n 50Ul – 7h!5 L0<3ly F33ling: Soulfully Striking Alt Folk Rock

8udDha bl0od

L3m0n 50Ul – 7h!5 L0<3ly F33ling is just one of the upcoming releases from the enviably talented Brighton-based artist 8udDha bl0od. The Psych Alt Folk single pulls in a myriad of nuances, but from the first hit, it will feel like home.

If you could imagine a soundscape as evocatively compelling as Elliot Smith’s tender classics, as Stylistic as Kurt Vile’s approach to Blues, and as kaleidoscopically warm as a track from King Crimson, you’ll get a good idea of the ingenuity which spills from L3m0n 50Ul – 7h!5 L0<3ly F33ling.

Despite the sweet absolving layers of soul weaved into L3m0n 50Ul – 7h!5 L0<3ly F33ling it’s still an emotionally weighted single which will stick to your synapses long after the track has faded to a close.

You’ll be able to check out L3m0n 50Ul – 7h!5 L0<3ly F33ling for yourselves from July 27th via SoundCloud.
