“Bleu Light” is the lucidly captivating latest single from up and coming Ambient EDM artist and producer Ples Jones. For this track, they borrowed the deft vocal cords of female vocalist Coranny. Coranny’s vocals brought a powerfully soulful dynamic to the otherwise slightly alien mix which was doused in layers of sonically lush reverb.
It is only when the track fades out you realise just how truly hypnotically immersive the single was. Ambient electronica doesn’t get much more cinematically accordant than this. While there are plenty of EDM artists putting mixes out there, tracks as rhythmically arrestive and cathartic as Bleu Light are still incredibly few and far between.
