Artist and producer Darshaan has created yet another sublimely soulful storm with their upcoming Alt Electronic Pop single Northern Line which is due to drop on February 7th.
Usually, I can find an easy place to start dissecting a track; the vocals, the lyrics, the production, the instrumentals… Yet, with Northern Line., the London-based artist’s talent resounds in them equally.
You’ll get sentimentally-sweet poetry in the lyrics, a dynamic testament of Darshaan’s vocal ability as he lays down resoundingly mesmeric harmonies, and a smooth radio-ready production combined with progressively intricate beats. Something tells me that Darshaan is as much as a perfectionist as they are a pioneer. With each new evolution of the instrumental arrangement, the ingenuity needed to craft the hooks and seamless transgressions almost hit you as hard as the alchemic emotion which is found in this single.
