Alt Rock Meets Rap in Spray Bottle Fever’s Latest Earworm “Let Me Down”

“Let Me Down” is the latest genre-mashing hit from Alt Rock artist Spray Bottle Fever. We’ve heard plenty of Hip Hop/Alt Rock crossovers this year, but none have offered the same cutting visceral emotion as Let Me Down.

The track kicks off with a Synthwave prelude before evolving into a Post Rock instrumental arrangement creating the perfect platform for the evocative Rap bars. There’s no overstating just how much fraught emotion is packed into the experimental mix, but it’s safe to say that it’s on par with Linkin Park’s exceptionally raw singles.

It’s rare that a track which offers such perceptible distinction has the makings of a perennial earworm, but you’ll soon see that Spray Bottle Fever are as far from archetypal as you can get.

You can check out the official video to Let Me Down which premiered on October 31st for yourselves by heading over to YouTube now.
