Illegal NoiZe breathed euphoric new life into Kevin Hill’s iconic track Dreamin’ with their experimentally progressive remix

After being blown away by Illegal NoiZe’s original tracks, we were stoked to hear he had given Kevin Hill’s transfixing hit Dreamin’ the Illegal NoiZe remix treatment.

We’d become accustomed to hearing big bass-driven hits from Illegal NoiZe such as their unforgettably dark EDM Hip Hop tracks Keep It Trill & I Like to Daft. We weren’t prepared for their hazy sweet remix of Dreamin’. But we loved the dreamy ambient side of the producer’s talent as much as we dug his ominously arrestive tracks.

Not only were lashings of Euphoria added to the mix, but each progression in the artist’s playfully teasing rework will draw you deeper into the rhythmically hypnotic soundscape even though you’ll never find a complacent moment in the 5:56-minute duration.

In 2014, Illegal NoiZe (formerly DJZ) was wiped off the internet by Sony/UMG. Now he’s back carrying his supposed copyright criminality as an ingenious artist title. Help put his new name on the map, but his beats on blast.

You can check out Illegal NoiZe’s remix of Dreamin’ via Spotify. Make sure to also check out their original tracks.

Up and coming artist MXXRE kills it in his latest release Lotto (Never Had) – Remix

Up and coming artist MXXRE, literally picks up the mic and kills it in his latest release Lotto (Never Had) – Remix.

Posing as a hip hop skilled manifestation of rap music, the song develops around fast and broad rap bars that stand mighty upon violin loops and deep bass sounds in a mix of electronica and hip hop in its minimalistic form.

Moderate beats model a magnetic harmony that becomes progressively catchier as you keep listening. The vocals are energising and make themselves appreciated for a pure aggressiveness diluted by ample reverbs, especially in the choruses. Undoubtedly, this is a production that stands out for the groove it generates – probably added by the remix.

Head over to Spotify and listen to Lotto (Never Had) – Remix for yourself.

‘Let’s Get It On’ – Doyle Remix: A Musical Layer Cake Perfect for Isolation!

If asked for sane, measured advice as to which songs one must listen to in a pandemic, ‘Let’s Get It On’ by Marvin Gaye, would be way, way, way down there near the end of the list. If you live alone, it’s the song you play when you finally grieve your genitals as they have to turned to dust and ashes and you are ready to send them off with tears and a service. ‘Let’s Get It On’……ah the good old days!

So it behooves one to amend the isolation list with this new release from Doyle. He has remixed the heck out of this classic, brought it to the top of my list and, where once it was a beautiful dirge that reminded me of the slow disintegration of my bits and the unchecked growth of leg hair, Doyle has waved his wand and magically turned it into a Celebration of Life. His head must be chocked full of grand influences like Reggeaton, Afrobeats, Trance and Dance. I say that because he has turned a masterpiece into an anthem. A dreamy interpretation of an old favourite; the unadulterated sexy growl of Gaye combined with the hopeful, eye-closed, dancing around the kitchen in your knickers,  inspired funk-fest.

Listen to The Doyle Remix of ‘Lets get it on’ on Soundcloud. I think it deserves a deep curtsy!

Allyson Band Reinvents a Classic with a Cover of “Hellhole Ratrace” (Keith Sweaty Remix)

Any fans of the original “Hellhole Ratrace” by GIRLS (and let’s face it there should be a lot of you) are sure to appreciate Allyson Band’s ambiently mellow cover version which been remixed by the deft rhythmic hands of Keith Sweaty.

The original version carried an ample amount of concordant catharsis which spilt through the slightly vintage soundscape, yet, with Allyson Band’s inventive reimagining, the track has been resurrected with a new contemporary resonance. Despite the contemporary feel on the polished production, none of the blissful original ambience behind Hellhole Ratrace has been lost.

10 years have passed since the track’s original release, yet Hellhole Ratrace still remains the perfect track to put on your vibey playlists thanks to Allyson Band’s dexterous innovative approach.

AMIIGO – Hold on Be Strong Remix; From Iconic to Anthemic

When you think about 2PAC, the first thing that comes to mind isn’t going to be EDM, but after you check out AMIIGO’s remix of the late and great icon’s track you may start to find that changes.

Whilst the original track may have carried the perfect urban hype in the first place, it’s almost impossible to allude to how much AMIIGO actually added to the track with his inventive use of Groove and EDM swing. Considering the sentimentality behind the track, the added digitalised drops add the perfect amount of momentum to the feel-good vibe of the track, the gritty-in-contrast Trap beat which allows the lyrics to resonate deeper.

Hold on Be Strong is the first remix dropped by the Swedish up and coming producer, yet, it’s evident from one drop that AMIIGO has the deft digital command that most producers would die for. His ability to weave a Rap track into a Progressive Electro House is bordering on absolute genius.

HÜSIA – New Rules Remix: Dua Lipa Like You’ve Never Heard Before

Dua Lipa has inspired many artists to have a go at remixing her iconic hit New Rules, but for me, HÜSIA’s remix stands above them all. The track was sultry, empowering and viracious before HÜSIA got his deft hands on the track, but with the added resonance and synthy reverb the track it can only be described as cataclysmically genius. The unexpected little breakdowns and intricate switch up’s almost completely transform the track whilst still keeping that same resounding tone of the original.

Something tells me that HÜSIA won’t be an up and coming artist for long, there really is no wonder why his music has received so much acclaim from EDM fans. I would love to hear some more of his original stuff dropped in 2018. His 2017 release of MissYou is insanely genius.

MAX – Lights Down Low ft. Gnash (Jasper Williams Remix): Rehashing the Past With Contemporary Flavour

Lights Down Low is a track that we’ve all grown to know and love since it’s 2016 release. However, Jasper Williams has reinvented the track with his brand-new remix, that makes this track even more harmonious and contemporary. Sure, only 2 years has passed since the first release of this song, but Jasper Williams makes it sound fresher than ever. The times are always changing, it’s a good job we have beat masters such as Jasper Williams to rehash tracks and breathe new life into them.

Astonishingly, Netherlands based music producer Jasper Williams has perfected his sound by the mere age of 19. His remixes have been two years in the making before they reached public ears, but I already can’t wait to hear what Jasper cooks up with his own beats.

Vonte – Jennifer (Remix); Vonte gave an awesome rendition of Trinidad Cardona’s Jennifer

https://youtu.be/-YNl7qVoxM8

Yeah, we’ve all loved and enjoyed Trinidad’s song – Jennifer. The wave of the news about how an 18 years old RnB & soul music singer whose song blew up and shaken the entire YouTube music world with millions of view on his hit song “Jennifer” is a fact that’s still quite indelible in the mind of YouTubers across the world, most especially in the Southern American countries. We’ve undeniably become so used to the way he sculpts and creates his own art until a new artist; Vonte decided to give us his own rendition of the song.

Well, aside exuding the same ecstatic cool groovy feeling just like how the original song does, Vonte’s remix of “Jennifer” leaves little to no piece of morsel-fact that’s gonna be able to tell the difference between the original version and his.

This song is actually very short, it’s only about 1:18 playtime, but it is still pretty well-laid and interestingly refreshing, to say the least.

More so, of all there is to look forward to getting your ears glued to, Vonte’s rendition of Tridinad Cardona’s “Jennifer” should definitely be a show starter for you. This is an amazing song that’s got a pack-full of psychedelic reverie in it.

And to all Jennifer’s this one’s for y’all. A cool and eventful song that can get your day channelled to the path of happy feeling is this song. The unalloyed beat it’s coated with, the strong message which was conveyed in a rather funny way and a lot more are the reasons why this song deserves a nice spot on your favourite playlist.
