“Lose Myself” may be Miranda Lopez’s debut track, but the London-based musician hasn’t failed to amass plenty of attention with the moody indulgence which she has cooked up with the mesmerising single.
While many up and coming artists have the inclination to assimilate popular artists, it’s perceptible that Lose Myself was a pure act of creative expression. The fact the single is just as compelling as tracks by London Grammar, Lorde, the XX, and Wolf Alice is a serendipitous coincidence.
Despite the obvious, vocal strength on display with Lose Myself, everything about the delivery feels authentic which naturally amplifies how hard the sonorous single hits you. It’s safe to say we’re incredibly excited to hear what comes next from Miranda Lopez.
