Florida-based singer-songwriter Josh Johnson has recently released their second progressively raw single “I’ll Remember”. The Indie Pop hit may be slightly darker than most of the Indie Pop ballads which you’ll find on the airwaves, but very few tracks resonate with this level of sincerity. Even fewer offer the chaotic furls of concordance which greets you when I’ll Remember reaches the peak of its momentum.
You can expect massively atmospheric choruses, chillingly melancholic lyrics, and downtempo melodic pacing which makes it all too easy to become immersed in the cathartically poignant hit.
With the extended length, it almost feels like you’re put through an emotional marathon. But the payoff definitely comes when you reach the final pensive note of I’ll Remember and realise how ethereally consuming the single is.
