London-based Alt Rock artist Down In Splendour released their debut single “Green” on September 27th allowing a vibrantly colourful Psych Rock revival to spill onto the airwaves.
Their unique take on transiently euphoric Psych Rock may not have been the sound that the genre was waiting for, because who could have seen that soundscape coming? But If you’re anything like me and you’re always in search of wholesome content, you’ll definitely be sated by Green.
There are very few fanciful words which can accurately depict what hitting play on the debut single from Down In Splendour feels like. So, instead, I’ll just have to tell you that the soundscape is extremely effective when it comes to making you feel tingly on the psychedelic ecstasy which has been weaved into the Pop Rock soundscape.
