IamTheRealSir – Blue Eyes: Intoxicatingly Smooth Mellow Trap

Up and coming Trap artist IamTheRealSir dropped the video to their latest mix “Blue Eyes” on January 23rd. You may want to pay it some attention because Ambient Trap doesn’t often come as tension stripping as this.

Hard-hitting mellow Trap may be fairly rare, yet IamTheRealSir perfectly filled the gap on the airwaves with their intoxicatingly smooth track which will stay with you for long after it has faded out. They may be fresh from their inception, but their style and the ingenuity are equally as fresh. If anyone’s taking notes on how to use vocal reverb and keep the raw human emotion, you’ll want to hit play on Blue Eyes and grab a pen.

You can check out the official music video to IamTheRealSir’s latest single Blue Eyes via YouTube. The animation is just as immersive and artful as the track itself. The combination of the two is practically hypnotic.

Up and Coming Ambient Trap Artist Trooley Has Just Dropped Their Smoothest Mix to Date

If you like your Trap on the softer side, you’ll strike gold with the mellow transcendent vibes which up and coming Hip Hop artist Trooley offers through his mixes.

After making their debut in 2019 with the single “Fake Smile”, he’s proven himself to be a prolific production machine on a mission to soak the airwaves with smooth fluid mixes. Each of their tracks comes with a perceptible ability to ease you into a zen-like state, yet the best introduction to his style is the recently released mix “Slimey” produced by Black Mayo.

The textures in the instrumentals may be light, airy, and ambient, but with an immersive infusion of bass and their softly energetic Rap bars, his tracks find the perfect balance between catharsis and conviction.

Yung Catboii – LUV ADDICT: Hypnotically Lucid Hip Hop

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSBHrzCoZM8

There aren’t many Hip Hop artists who can leave me enamoured by a prelude. But discernibly, Yung Catboii isn’t an average Hip Hop artist.

Their latest single “LUV ADDICT” is tender, intimate, and thanks to the Indie melodic spacey vibe, it’s bordering on hypnotic.

Archetypal song structures were discarded as Yung Catboii went all-in on the experimentalism for this wavily romantic downtempo offering of urban alchemy produced by FRAXILLE. The end of LUV ADDICT comes without warning – just a sudden disconnect from the concordantly polished mesmerism which you’ve been fed in the two minutes previous. I can’t help but feel that such a harsh ending is typical of the love affairs which inspired Yung Catboii’s Rap bars.

You can check out the official music video to LUV ADDICT for yourselves via YouTube.

Scott Creek – Rackies ft Malik: Lucidly Cathartic Dreamwave Trap

https://soundcloud.com/scottxcreek/rackies-feat-malik

Hip Hop artist & producer Scott Creek teamed up with Malik for their latest lucid Trap release “Rackies”. Consider it a playlist essential if you’re always on the hunt for chilled vibes which have been orchestrated and produced with ample amounts of concordance.

With plenty of Dreamwave elements weaved into the mix, it unfolds as a trippily cathartic soundscape, but there’s plenty of bass propping up the softer delicate notes. The lyrics may be fairly abstract and light, yet Scott Creek still ensured that there was plenty of sticky-sweet soul in Rackies. It’s a flawless mix with pitch-perfect production and it gives us plenty of excitement over what’s to come from the up and coming artist.

KV Infinity – Cherry Blossom: Cathartically Guitar-Driven Chill Hop

From the first melodically cathartic note of the guitar to KV Infinity’s latest single Cherry Blossom you’re hooked. The Alt Ambient Urban hit won’t fail to draw you into the progression, the choice to include the sound of crashing waves in the prelude was bordering on genius. Once Cherry Blossom kicks into verse you’re treated to a lyrically-driven offering of soulfully urban vibes which comes to life through the sweet romanticism which bleeds from the lyrics.

With her latest single KV Infinity proves that there are still so many directions to take the urban soundscape in. However, there is little that other up and coming artists can do to match the blissfully strong serenity which is projected from her vocals which weave so seamlessly in the prodigally piercing melodies.

You can check out Cherry Blossom for yourself by heading over to SoundCloud and embracing the (literal) waves of lucidity. Cherry Blossom is just one of the singles released from her 2018 album ‘INFINITY’, for the full transcendental effect, I’d hit play on the first track.

Tarek 0_- – Wherever: Ambiently Arresting Chill Hop

Tarek 0_- may have created the most cathartic sound I’ve ever had the pleasure of slipping into with his release of Wherever. Rather than just sending you into a catatonic state the ambient track bleeds through enough melody to keep you hooked onto every single snare, rattle and fluid progression of the Trap style beat. Vocals were rendered unnecessary (and quite rightly so) for wherever as the soundscapes flirted with lucid uplifting emotion that I can guarantee will enable you to reach a blissfully transient new plateau. In his playfully experimental style he describes his music as ‘Marvin Gaye meets Brian Eno’ those give words sum up his sound almost perfectly. But this one, you’re really going to have to listen to yourself. There is as much substance between the space of the sounds as there is contained within them as they trickle by never demanding attention just offering pure vibrant harmony.

You can check out Tarek 0_-‘s latest track Wherever on SoundCloud now along with his latest releases where Tarek 0_- has mixed up his quiescent style with a more traditional Chill Hop approach to sound.

Dxvxs – DRUG$: A Cathartic Offering of Chill Hop

It would seem that intoxication is a major part of US based Chill Hop producer and rapper Dxvxs’s soundscape, whilst that’s not too unexpected within Hip Hop Dxvxs has created one of the most ambiently stimulating Trap mixes I’ve heard this year with his latest single DRUG$.

DRUG$ hits you with an instant wave of catharsis as soon as you hit play on the polyphonic mix, the resonance on the synth is more than enough to take you under as you embrace the waves of trickling, reverberating tantalising sound. The only suggestion I would have for Dxvxs in the future would to be hold back on the effects in his voice, all the natural texture of his vocals were stripped away under the heavy reverberation which in parts clashed with the resonance of the sound. Having said that, I can’t think of a more perfect track to vibe out to.

So if you’re looking for some new mixes to add to your vibe-out playlists you can check out Dxvxs’ latest Trap beat DRUG$ on SoundCloud now along with the myriad of track Dxvxs has released this year.

Inztrow Beats – Birds of a Feather (VULFPECK remix): Catatonically Powerful Fresh Swiss Chill Hop

I’ll hold my hands up and admit that Inztrow Beats is probably the first ever RnB & Soul artist from Switzerland that I’ve stumbled across, the minute I hit play on his latest track Birds of a Feather I instantly got a taste of what I was missing out on. As the Swiss are normally occupied with their penchant for Electronica music, news of such sweet Urban music doesn’t hit international waters all too often.

The Geneva based artist released his latest track on February 14th, 2018 off his latest mix tape which is a fusion of fresh sounds that create a sublimely tranquil harmony of Funk, Soul, Trap and Lo-Fi Swing Jazz. His dulcet pioneering sound is one that’s all too easy to listen to. What I probably loved most about Birds of a Feather was the old school harmony behind his vocals that are as light as air, and as fresh as they come.
