“Something in Everything” is the latest indulgently melodious Soul Pop single from the up and coming artist Surreal Satori. While the airwaves are in no short supply of breaking Pop artists, that should be of little consequence to Surreal Satori with her hypnotically restorative vocals and mesmerising rhythms. With Something in Everything, you’re treated to experimentation with rich, organic textures in the instrumental arrangement which offers an accessible level of soft groove and funk.
What Sharon Van Etten and Angel Olsen are to melancholic soundscapes is what Surreal Satori is to cathartically ambient Pop. There is a light ethereal feel to Something in Everything; as the melodies ebb and flow you find yourself arrested by the each and every delicate and perfectly poised progression.
