With a track title Die Slow, you’re hardly going to expect a high-vibe happy anthemic track, yet Star Qualified even threw this nihilist with his latest single. Good God damn, the introspective in the lyricism is heavy. I can’t say I’ve ever heard a Hip Hop Rap artist to step to the mic with such raw and brutal honesty, the emotion is palpably real, and it’s almost devastating. No one can deny that we’ve all mused about who would miss us if we died at some point in our lives. So, major respect to Star Qualified to be the man that finally said it. What’s more. He did it over a solid Trap beat which only amplified the brevity of the sentiment. The mid-tempo beat has been polished to absolute perfection and simultaneously carries ambience and vibe.
