If your playlists in short supply of melodic Hip Hop you may want to turn your attention to Rumin8’s title track from his 2018 album Look Up.
The Rap track has a fluid progression paired with an anthemic Indie vibe and amplified through the essence of Rumin8’s Rap verses. The lyrics are simple yet sweet, they feed into the good-vibe feel that comes alive through Rumin8’s charismatic bars, not every rapper is blessed with the ability to make their tracks feel personal, but it’s safe to say the Denver based up and coming recording artist is up there with the best of them.
The fact that he’s weaved in some classical strings around the quaking rattle of the 808 beats brought this track to a whole level. Each swell and draw of the violin leaves you gripped by the intricacy of Look Up’s composition.
