The first thing that hits you about Que the Boy’s latest single Moving Like an Uber is the beat which greats you with an instant reminiscence of the iconic Jay Z/Linkin Park collab, yet, as the prelude runs through, you realise that Que the Boy is a serious lyrical contender. The playfully brash lyricism within Moving Like an Uber creates an urban gritty track that you can’t help but resonate with. The classic 808 beats rattle behind the relentless rap flows as you realise, there’s little you can do to prevent yourself falling in love with Que the Boy’s charisma and his witty punchlines. I definitely wouldn’t like to step to him in a Rap battle. There’s a beautiful amount of venom spat within the Detroit US based artists bars which sits against the mid-tempo trickling beat which bleads pure sonorous resonance through the multi-layered labyrinth of sound.
