Orchestral Hip Hop preludes don’t come much more arrestive than what you’ll find in Jae Casino’s latest single “Across Town” featuring Just Nikki and Sunni.
But it isn’t too long before the equally-as-captivating wavy polyphonic Hip Hop beats kick in with the ethereal orchestral layers weaving behind them. Vocally, Across Town bounces between deadpan convictive Rap in the verses and RnB harmonics in the chorus injecting plenty of dynamic versatility into the mix along with the added bonus of collaborative chemistry.
With the midtempo flow, the high polish on the production, and the solid hooks in Across Town, it’s a track which demands repeat attention. Any fans of contemporary experimental Hip Hop will definitely want it on their playlists.
