I may be a little bias calling J. R. August’s single Crucify Me a tearjerker considering the fact a piercing piano melody will always tear right through me. But anyone who appreciates a neo-classical acoustic progression is sure to find an aural home within the single which proves to be simultaneously haunting and beautiful.
The Croatian based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer possess a captivating enigmatic style which I can guarantee you won’t have heard the likes of before. The artist’s small town roots are practically tangible as you listen to the ease and grace of Crucify Me unfold under the light yet powerful notes of the piano.
Placing Crucify Me into a genre would be blasphemy, so, keep an open mind to the Folkish quintessence and the glossy Pop production of Crucify Me. You can check out the stunning official video to Crucify Me for yourself by heading over to YouTube now.
