Henry Annen & Tyler Perry dropped their latest Rap mix tape Kickin Back on April 25th, 2018 and I for one am so glad that they did. It’s not all too often you encounter a Hip Hop beat with the power to grip you like a vice. The beat to the up and coming rap artists track is by far one of the most transcendentally popping rhythms I’ve heard this year. You can’t help but get caught up in the swathes of sound which have been polished to perfection to give the track a perfectly contemporary edge. The prelude was truly haunting, but when the rap duo kicked into full flow the momentum took a progressive shift in direction when the Grime bars dominated the soundwaves. In short, it’s frigging awesome.
If you’re a fan of Drake, Lil Wayne and Kendrick Lamar you will adore the slick beats that Henry & Tyler lay down for Hip Hop fans who like their music with a little added grit.
