Up and coming Indie Pop artist Future Echoes has recently released their latest single “Nothing to Lose”. The single merges the familiarity of 80s Synth Pop with modern moody Pop to create a naturally immersive soundscape which won’t fail to keep your attention as the slightly funk-driven notes carve a succinct melody.
Expect lashings of lush reverb to swell around the electronic progressions which create the perfect platform for the plaintively captivating Pop vocals. There’s no denying that Future Echoes offer music which sits right on the contemporary curve. Yet, it was easy to feel that accessibility was favoured over authenticity while listening to Nothing to Lose. But that’s not to say it’s not a radio-ready stylistic feat of synthy moody pop.
