First in Flight haven’t made it easy to fit their prodigally vibrant sound neatly into any given genre. Their latest single “Never Alone” which was released on December 7th and proves to be one of the most pioneering offerings of Synth Pop we’ve encountered in 2018.
The up and coming act blend elements of 80’s synth pop with experimentally sweet Jangle Pop indie and crunchingly deep guitar riffs to treat you to one hell of an up-vibe anthem. The dynamic range of the vocals is just one of the many reasons why Never Alone is the perfect introduction to their slick, stylish, sound. The instrumental arrangements may remind you of the soundtrack to the Never-Ending Story in part, yet, with the cataclysmic guitar outro the track finishes on, it seems promising that we haven’t heard the best from First in Flight yet.
