Up and coming Hip Hop artist DaJohn hasn’t failed to attract plenty of hype with his contemporary bassy Trap hits in recent years, if you’ve not put them on your radar yet, you might want to start paying attention.
Their standout hit “WHATEVER” stands as a testament to their talent when it comes to cooking up Darkwave grinding rhythms with rap bars which run through with plenty of commandingly sardonic bite. While we could definitely appreciate WHATEVER, it was easy to feel that there wasn’t much of a clear lyrical direction with the track. If DaJohn brought resounding lyricism into the mix, they’d be unstoppable.
