Is there any more terrifying word in the English dictionary than ‘fine?’. I thought not. Thankfully, Calamari Ferrari’s latest single Fine is anything but scary.
The up and coming artist has brought Synth Pop into the 21st century with his decadent mix of electronic euphoria. By combining elements of EDM, Synth Pop, Trap and Indie he orchestrates soundscapes which very much deserve to be in the mainstream whilst bearing a reminiscence to no other contemporary act out there on the soundwaves at the moment.
Fine toes the line between a cathartic chill out track to vibe out to, and a euphoric Pop track, so in other words, whatever mood this track catches you in, it’s impossible not to appreciate the idyllically sweet composition. Calamari Ferrari may have a little of a ridiculous name, but his sense of humour stops there, through his latest single he proves that he’s nothing but serious when it comes to creating refreshingly organic synthesised anthems.
