Fans of gritty old school Hip Hop definitely shouldn’t hang around on jumping on the latest track “Sax” from up and coming Rap artist AB Sku.
The evenly paced single runs at the perfect tempo for you to soak up the light Jazzy organic effects which have been poured into Sax to create the perfect platform for AB Sku’s steady Rap bars. As much as I loved Sax, it was hard to find any sense of direction or passion within the lyrics, while there were some clever lyrical punches thrown, it was easy to feel that it lacked in resonance as you listened to the track unfold. But that’s not to say we don’t have plenty of anticipation with what AB Sku can offer to Hip Hop with their future releases.
