Any Hip Hop artist who starts off their tracks with a David Attenborough sample is always going to get a thumbs up from us. Yet, unlike most artists who pull you in with an experimental start, the inventive move with the prelude moved into an equally expressive Rap track. The relentless flow of the rapid fire lyrics hooks you in from the very first line of Zach Scott’s latest single “Bar Review”. The up and coming artist was just as serious about the seamless progression of the beat to Bar Review as he was about the perfect meter and rhyme of the lyrics – put them both together and you get one serious serving of aural hype. And all of that is served up the two-minute duration of the track. With Zach Scott’s tracks getting plenty of attention, it’s hard to see him staying on the underground with his distinctive style.
