Breaking Trap artist Devonta Jj hasn’t failed to gain the attention with his wavy melodic soundscapes. His latest album “Wavyting” dropped in 2019 containing nine wistfully raw tracks, each giving you a different reason to be enamoured by his candid lyrical style and ability to put together hypnotically smooth beats.
There is no better introduction to Devonta Jj’s style than the standout track “Bluff”, it may be short and sweet at just over two minutes long, but the high standard of production combined with Devonta Jj’s prodigal style remains perceptible throughout. Bluff runs through with layers of Jazz feeding into the trap mix, and vocals which bleed into the mix slightly, yet, the weight behind the lyricism still packs a weighty enough punch.
