Don’t Get Me Wrong: Berlin’s State Space reaches for his dreams on synth-filled single ‘Saint’

As he skillfully boosts up the engine packs and slides smoothly into our fascinated minds with a positive message, State Space returns with party boosting dance hit with a I-won’t-leave track that has you believing that anything is possible on ‘Saint‘.

Vova Tumasiants aka State Space, is a free-thinking Ukraine-born indie dance artist who likes to transcend genres and is based in Berlin, Germany. He makes a blend of classic Synthwave sounds with modern EDM beats attached, that are packed with tasty chocolate treats of 80’s-style alt-pop to nibble on hungrily.

Growing up Vova was heavily influenced by the Pop and Dance music of the day. However, the 90’s Brit-Pop and Alternative Rock of artists like Oasis ultimately inspired him to seriously pursue music.” ~ State Space

You feel that extra zest in his step – as the liveliness swarms over your speakers – the catchy dynamism engulfs your soul and has you flowing with an energy that has your heart beating rather quickly.

I think that there should be no genres anymore, because they limit the imagination and the flexibility of many artists, who don’t want to care about genres but do want to create whatever comes in their minds.” ~ State Space

Saint‘ from the Berlin, Germany-based indie dance solo artist and electrical engineer State Space, is a transfixing star-like mesh of delightful which takes you on a rocket-ship journey above the clouds, that is full of lights and action. He sings with an expressive nature that is exciting and fresh – as you feel his enthusiasm-soaked passion – that is easy to like and dance to all night long with a smile on your dial.

Endless Wires made his stridently electrifying synthwave debut with ‘Accept to Enter’ featuring Kabelle.

UK-based multi-instrumentalist and producer, Endless Wires (Tom Evans) established themselves as one to watch in the Vaporwave scene with the release of his arresting debut single, Accept to Enter, featuring vocals from Kabelle.

With vocals that will take you right back to the 90s and remind you of the forcefully resounding timbre of Cher, Whitney Houston and Madonna falling into the synthwave reverb-laced soundscape that kicks off with moody synth notes and transgresses into a stridently electrifying aural experience, it is an entrancing and evocative ride from the start. The addition of the classic rock guitar solos in the tense build-up to the highest crescendo was undoubtedly the cherry on the cake.

Accept to Enter is available to stream via SoundCloud.

The Dresden Persuasion – The Stars Have Faded: Phantasmally Consoling Darkwave Electronica

I Am the Skeleton King by The Dresden Persuasion

Any fans of Bowie, Empathy Test, Bauhaus and Type O Negative will want to jump on the latest album ‘I Am the Skeleton King’ from The Dresden Persuasion.

Track 1, ‘The Stars Have Faded,’ is a faultless introduction to the mesmerising German artist. From the first verse, it’s perceptible that their soundscapes are crafted to offer the listener just as much catharsis as they experienced when creating their hypnotic feats of Electronica.

The Darkwave single pairs phantasmal instrumentals with Craig Dickerson’s sensually absorbing vocals which ensure that with each progression, you’re immersed even deeper in the evocatively multifaceted release. The Stars Have Faded captures the complexity of nihilistic emotion while allowing your own emotions to slip away as they’re replaced with the consoling ones relayed to you in resounding whispers.

Escape reality and jet set through the 5th dimension with Praise & Warships’ synthy sweet single ‘Contact’

Global traversing may have been made difficult this year, but that’s not to say you can’t partake in jet setting through the 5th dimension with a little help from sonically entrancing tracks such as the latest release from Alt Electronica artist Praise & Warships.

In their latest futuristically danceable single, Contact, you’ll find catchy synth hooks, lashings of funk and overwhelmingly resonant lyrics. The repetition of ‘I just need contact’ brings a powerful relatable element to the otherwise playful and eccentric single. Hit play and you might almost forget that you’ve been starved of contact this year.

The ultimate Indie power couple The Civil Union has released their synthy sweet Pop Rock track “You&I”

You&I” is the synthy sweet Pop Rock earworm orchestrated by the Indie power couple The Civil Union which puts to shame all of the artificially composed love songs which consistently flood the airwaves.

When they say, “You and I are the only thing that needs to happen”, you believe it. The passion, determination and unfaltering love resonates just as much through the lush synth lines it does through the dual vocals as they coalesce under vocal reverb for a retro-futuristic effect.

The Civil Union had to triumph over adversity for the release of their debut self-titled album. The album which became so much more than a project. It turned into purpose, catharsis and the testament of the love that breathes between them.

Qn9nety takes lyrical Hip Hop to a new level with their debut album “Occupying Space”

Qn9nety

Qn9nety’s debut album “Occupying Space” which is due for release on November 6th is a poignant reminder of just how powerful Hip Hop can be.

The Derry, Ireland-based artist took inspiration from lyrically-minded rap artists, mixed it with his own passion and ability to contort the words into new meaning and released a ground-breaking album which will make it harder for you to claim that 2020 has sucked for music.

The perfect introduction to their sonic sound is irrefutably the concluding track “Everyday” which mixes 80s Synthwave with convectively striking Rap bars. It’s hard to ascertain which aspect of Everyday is blowing your mind. Is it the playfully atmospheric aural alchemy conjured by the beats? Is it how Qn9nety’s distinctive beyond definition Rap bars collide against the immersive melodic rhythms? Is it the raw gritty compassion contained in the lyrics? Whatever it is, you’re going to want to hear it again and again.

You’ll be able to check out Occupying Space for yourselves from the date of release via Spotify.
