The fascinating story of: Nightmarine by Kaya & The Science of the Lamps drop incredible rotoscoped video

Nightmarine‘ from Kaya & The Science is a gloriously made new single with fascinating visuals to match.

Nightmarine‘ is packed with with real stories of Kaya’s father’s career marine biologist, the loss and grief felt after losing a loved parent, this is the life of a human dealing with the ups and downs of staying positive afterwards. This can be somber but you feel hopeful, this is a musician who believes that there is light out there.

Their inspiration comes from vaudeville, visual art, early Hollywood movie scores, Nordicana, wine, flamenco, trip-hop, music boxes, Paris and whiskey bars. This is an act with a wide-range of influences, they music is varied and this visual video gives us further insight into their style.

Nightmarine‘ from Kaya & The Science is a lovely music video, the vocals are glassy and crisp, the sounds keep you hooked throughout. This is a creative song that is so real, the story is about loss and also how to stay strong. A marvellous effort from this fine outfit that are surely going to get lots of attention from music fans.

Melbourne singer-songwriter Jayvier is on top form with ‘Everything That Happened’

Melbourne singer-songwriter Jayvier is on top form with his new song about lost love on ‘Everything That Happened‘.

With the string-filled start, we are soon put into the story of the blizzard. he was at the bottom, was stumbling but made it anyway. He ended up missing that special soul, he thought she was gone. Somehow it worked out and he got to meet her in the end.

There is a lot of lovely indie-folk here, you can feel that this is a singer-songwriter who is well-traveled. He has seen a lot of music venues and bars, the extra bit of vocals is so great to hear. He projects his voice so well and the song is vibrant, full of stops to gain momentum again.

Everything That Happened‘ from Australian singer-songwriter Jayvier who is looking for his angel on this fine song, full of quality vocals and a story about lost love.

Howling indie groove with the debut from Aheartthing’s ‘Ye Ehn’

This is a howling indie groove with incredible vocals on Aheartthing’sYe Ehn‘.

This is the first release from Aheartthing’s new full length EP ‘Just Bekause It’s Tuesday‘. Self-written and produced by Mors, this is such a stunner of a track with emotive raps, the sound feels like its a sonic palate of enjoyable music to warm our cold hearts. This is a song for the movies, each vocal is placed into the ears and it won’t let go. This is an R&B journey that means something.

Aheartthing’sYe Ehn‘ is a terrific track that has a few different varieties of genres inside it. We are treated to a debut track that is one to watch, this is a new group that are planning to get their music out to as many people as possible. The world is a better place with indie music like this, the earthy feel gushes together like a barrel, there is some quality here.

Hank Quillen sings with stories about her on ‘Still Love You’

Hank Quillen is an actor, singer-songwriter-producer who writes and records his own songs and has appeared in hit TV Shows and feature films. He is back on the music side this time with the groovy 70’s inspired jam called ‘Still Love You‘.

His latest release contains a lot of songs and this is due to lock down. Suddenly time was there to make all those songs he really wanted. Extra time was taken here to make this right and the class is so clear to see from this multi-talented performer.

This has that old school feel to it. It is 3am in the morning and you can just think of her. She consumes your mind even though she treated you so badly. You just tried to be there but it wasn’t enough, Your love is so strong still however and you can’t get her out of your mind.

Still Love You‘ from Hank Quillen is an honest song about love. You feel the passion here from the well-traveled singer and actor. This is a fine effort and the indie-folk honest drop-lings, are exactly what we need in 2020.

‘The Real Thing’ from 6 piece band Limberlost is a gritty and real effort of substance

The Real Thing‘ from Limberlost is a quality effort from the Seattle rock band who are back, much to the applause of their loyal fans.

Limberlost is an rocking US band with Pacific Northwest origins and elements forged from Heart, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple, streaming fluidly through their vast veins like that incomparable rush you get at the wild waterpark on the biggest ride. This is a swashbuckling performance that will excite young and old alike. It has that old school solo guitar that will get you dancing, the vocals are crisp and elegantly sung, the notes high but never too much.

The Real Thing‘ from Limberlost has indie-rock and pop that has added sprinklings of their personal style, this is a well-made song with a vibe that cleanses the heart. This fine 6 piece outfit have that sound that you want to listen to again and again, always a good sign. Female fronted with a bond in the band so strong, you can feel the air of a band who know what they want as that is the key to happiness.

Neil Armstrong sends the world a great tribute to Western movies on ‘Falling Man’

Neil Armstrong is a singer-songwriter who works in creative partnerships to write and perform with a classy uniqueness of style and breath-taking sound. This is an excellent artist who is back with his new single called ‘Falling Man‘.

This is a tribute to great western movies and features the original song ‘Falling Man‘ from the 2020 Album ‘Nearly Life‘. The music was written and is performed by Neil Armstrong, featuring the legendary guitars of Jose Maria Sagrista.

The vocals are so crisp and the guitar style is quite legendary. Teaming up with David Will Mitchell was a good move with the lyrics and these two make a quality team.

Falling Man‘ from Neil Armstrong is a terrific track that is a fine tribute to a genre that he loves. The world was a different place but its still the Wild Wild West out there. This video is made so well and this is a true old school throwback to make us remember this genre that was massive back in the day.

Brooklyn’s Mick Dove is fantastic on the electric indie-electro filled beat on ‘Pinhole‘.

You have lusty dreams with this special soul and you know what you want. You whisper in each others ears, the passion is there but can you get what you want? The tension is there and you love everything about this and you feel like they are an angel, sent to make you happy. Things are up and down for now but this will hopefully change to make your dreams come true.

The music is so subtle, the beat is so catchy and the music is different from normal. The creation is brilliant and Mick takes us on a worldly music. You can tell that he is a talented producer is a master at what he does, the vocals add a style that is so New York.

The indie-electronic artist from Brooklyn, Mick Dove, is on fire here for his new song called ‘Pinhole‘. He adds an element of class here in 2020.

With a wild frame of songwriting, singer Andrea Dee invites us briefly into her wonderful world of love, passion, heartbreak, and vulnerability. Her music is always an honest take on life, the journey, and the process plus everything in the middle.

Andrea Dee is a London based producer, singer-songwriter, performer and composer, originally from Paris, France. Now in London, she is on a mission for her music to be heard all over the world.

Not Sorry‘ from Andrea Dee is a story of not accepting people that don’t really get you. You know what you want and like and aren’t taking anything less in life. You feel like you are being put in a corner and can’t express yourself.

Andrea Dee sings so well on ‘Not Sorry‘. I can’t wait to see her live and hear this tremendous talent up close and personal. She has such a fine voice and I like the meaning behind this song. We need to be free and wild, not locked in.

Muca & La Marquise release fantastic animated video for ‘Blue Moon Bossa’

Blue Moon Bossa‘ is Muca & La Marquise‘s animated music video that was made by Ed Murray and this is a gem of note.

Muca & La Marquise, the brainchild of London based songwriter and music producer Muca, is a music project that uses sound and vision to bring to life a 22 year old girl who possesses a hauntingly unique voice that will inspire the hearts of everyone. She certainly does this to emasculate standards.

You feel like you are in outer space, the love is so vivid and you can’t look away. Love can be blind but sometimes you have to go for it and take that jump. You might fall in love and for that, you must try and see if this is what is meant to be.

Blue Moon Bossa‘ from Muca & La Marquise is a stunning song and the visuals are so well-made. This is a soulful track, made with love. There are indie-jazz droplets of goodness here and this is a video to put on again and again. The beauty here is so evident and these two just made a masterpiece here.

‘Get over It’ from Fendahlene is a relationship problem in a catchy song

Get over It‘ from Fendahlene is a relationship problem in a catchy song that has lots of awesome riffs to keep us wildly entertained.

Fendahlene were formed in Sydney back in late 1994 by Paul Whiteley (guitar and vocals) and Ashley Hurst (bass). After moving to Europe in 2006 from Australia, they decided to have a break to reboot. They soon returned to the studio in 2018 to record their new album, High and Low and Back Again at Urchin Studios in East London over a period of two years, the album featuring ‘Get Over It’ dropped in July 2020.

The bass line are tremendous here on Get over It and this is a top act. The vocals are smooth like a bald head, the catchy vibe has you pricking your ears up to hear more. This is the mark of a quality track.

This is the story about getting over a relationship that isn’t going well. Things were great and then life happened. You are tired or being in the firing line and have decided to move on as it isn’t worth it anymore. Or will you be able to chat about it and move on? Time will tell but things aren’t looking good so far.

Get over It‘ from Fendahlene is a fine indie-rock song and the catchy elements keep you hooked all the way through. This might be the new breakup anthem of 2020.
