‘Million Miles‘ by Indie-Folk act Alex Anthony Band is a true tale about moving forward in life and to not let anyone hold you down. The world is wild enough and there is no time for doubters but you feel like you need to leave your current situation.

Taken off the recently released 7 track album ‘Lets Get Some Sleep‘, this is a lovely single that weaves into your heart like a cozy and well-fitted jersey made by Gran for Christmas. This is the type of song that has been missing in 2020 and we are in for a treat- without the trick.

After one of his songs was picked up by CBS’s The Young and the Restless, life changed for Alex and this shows you to follow your dreams. You just never know what is out there in this crazy life. With his band mates with him for this journey, you feel like Alex is in the right place now and doesn’t need to move away and find a new town.

Alex Anthony Band are fantastic on ‘Million Miles‘ and this is an effort to savor. The lyrics are made from real stories of life and the band are in full flow. This is that top drawer type of music that makes you think, heals your heart and deserves to be heard.

Donegal’s Aaron Everything is so real on spooky Halloween track ‘Plastic Fright‘ ft Blakkheart and this is a new track to support as this is a great listen. Think quick-fire indie rap with a singer that will leave you gasping for air due to her amazing voice.

After being raised in the countryside, Aaron Everything is a peaceful producer/rapper who likes to mix up genres in his music. He is now 100% in the music game and has dedicated his world to making music that has an extra punch.

Blakkheart is a female music producer, engineer and vocalist based in Cork who has a vocal ability that sets the standard in 2020. Her voice is so smokey cool, like a tasty BBQ on a summers day.

Aaron Everything gets it right on Halloween track ‘Plastic Fright‘ ft the stunning talent of Blakkheart. With Gothreen on production, this is a track made by 3 of the best. This is all about how anxious the world is in modern times and how Halloween is a way out, even for one day. You can dress up and be silly and its okay. No one judges you and this is how things should be all the time. This is a perfect infusion on indie Rap with a whole bunch of soul. A fire track that has so much variety you will need to listen a few times to fully appreciate its skill level. A terrific new single that will get stuck in your head for ages.

San Francisco based Cailo inspires us all with the beautiful call for help from the universe on ‘Miracle‘, this is a new song with so much heart and love. You can’t but help like this female artist, her EDM style is a welcome addition to the dark days of 2020.

Cailo is an American EDM producer, singer and also a well-respected songwriter. She is an artist with so much creativity and makes music to help us heal.

‘Miracle‘ from Cailo is a track that you can’t help but like. The world is looking for a miracle right now and the message here is of peace. The vocals are beautiful here and the beat keeps you hooked throughout. This is a song to turn on loud and tell your friends about.

Here is a self-aware female artist who makes music that means something and was made with purpose. A single that will surely become one of the more inspirational tales of 2020.

Singer Edenhill impresses us all with new pop debut track ‘Afterlife’

Edenhill is a new artist and impresses with a pure pop single called ‘Afterlife‘, a song that is crystal clear and shows the world a fine new talent.

With a strong voice and a riveting story, this is a track that is full of energy and desire. A new artist with lots to prove and he is off to a great start. This has that little bit extra that we all love.

You love them so much and would do anything to be with them. You always say that things are okay even if they aren’t, you want things to go well and not have any drama. You feel like you are living in a different world and are sad a lot when you are alone. The world has made things dark but you hold out hope that things will be okay down the road.

Edenhill shows us his pop style on ‘Afterlife‘ and this is a terrific sign of things to come. So often, artists come and go like the seasons but this feels different.

This is live looped Rock and Roll Rap, Oscar Mic releases ‘Get Yours‘ and trust us, this is a song like no other in the world.

Oscar Mic is Seamus Hayes in real life and is a one man band with plenty to offer the world with his charm, different music and stage appeal. This is the type of artist that is best consumed live on stage.

Oscar Mic shows his showmanship on the new ‘Get Yours‘ music video which was created during lockdown  with the help of his girlfriend director Dovile Meilute. He is a character like no other and this shows vividly here on the latest release from the one man band. This is a funny video, with striking visuals, lots of stage presence and lyrics that make you think.

This is unique TrashPop track, something that you would of course expect to be produced by the mighty Gordon Raphael (The Strokes, Regina Spektor, Skunk Anansie). Enjoy and admire this terrific artist.

Infinity Dragon pushes the boundaries of music with genre-defying ‘Santa Monica‘ and this is a song to listen to again and again. It is that good.

Taken off the exciting new full album ‘2Wild‘, Infinity Dragon are in freakishly flourishing form here that ferments so nicely all over your body. When your music influences are Hip Hop, Rock and you love Sade, Imogen Heap, Michael Jackson, and Prince, you get the feel for this original artist. The vocals seep into your brain and you get the feeling that you are perhaps witnessing something special. You are right. You are being exposed to greatness.

This is a song that morphs so many genres into one and the mystical mesh is like a perfectly made BBQ. The taste is so good and the smiles lasts for days.

With a freaky fresh beat that kicks down the doors with aplomb, this is that type of song that you rarely hear these days. This is a punishing effort, full of form and flair from Infinity Dragon on ‘Santa Monica‘.

This is about pushing the genres and making music that catches your breath off guard. A song to remember here, this is what 2020 is all about- doing things you thought you would never do.

Suris return with the incredible new single ‘Argus’

Suris are Lindsey and David Mackie. They are back with a new organic single full of heart and intrigue to all listeners. It’s called ‘Argus‘ and this is the perfect song to mediate to in 2020.

With a vibrant start, the background sounds grab you and this is something you haven’t heard much before. Soon, we are dazzled by the beautiful vocals, these are noises that we like. Such clear vocals and these two work so well together. This is a stunning song, full of intricate details, there is a rhythm here that is missing from most new songs.

This is proper music, with layers and a light that shines through all your worries. There is an alternative wonderland here, everything is so vivid and I get lost in this indie-soundscape track.

Suris break down more barriers with ‘Argus‘ and you can see why they are so successful, well-respected and admired throughout. This is poetic, this has an orchestra type of feel, this is melodic and stirs your insides like a hot cuppa tea.

Bethel, New York is the home of Max Lee and he returns with a fine track that is full of honesty, indie-folk dreams and fantastic lyrics. Very unsatisfied with widespread complacent attitudes toward life, he is on a mission to change the world with his music.

This is about knowing deep inside what the real story. You need to follow your dream and make your move, you are the person in charge of your destiny so must do what is right.

‘The Moment Keeps on Moving‘ from Max Lee is a fine new effort from the singer-songwriter as he delves into life with a fine song. With a voice that takes you on a flourishing journey, this is a real track that we needed. Keeping the moment and making everything worthwhile in life is so vital. Music like this reminds us about this important message.

‘Old Dreams‘ from London band Foreign TV is an ode to old school love and the great moments that those give you in your veins.

This is a band with a unique style, you just know that they have made this song with their own sound and they don’t try and sound like anyone else in the world.

This is that laid-back vibe as you think about that special person in your life and how her hair flows, how she walks and talks. You are madly in love and this could be the one. Each thought you have is about her and you wish you could see her everyday for the rest of your days.

London band Foreign TV impressive massively with their new song ‘Old Dreams‘ and this is such a lovely track. With a UK rap style that is mixed into an indie track without pretentiousness. This is the type of track to enjoy late at night when you are relaxing after a long day. A top track that is such a worthwhile listen.
