Sarah Mae Chilton and Lord Goldie release super catchy single Broke

The duo containing Sarah Mae Chilton and Lord Goldie have dropped their recent single ‘Broke’, the Pop infused piece is one that will be stuck in your head.

An insanely catchy tune, with the energetic and up-beat melody that intertwines with the adenoidal melodic vocals that come from artist Sarah, sounding similar to those such as Taylor Swift and Jess Glynne, having that similar tone and pitch. Everything about this song just gives off this enjoyable feeling as you listen.

Lord Goldie comes in swiftly for a short amount of time with full on energy and a smooth Rap to mix things up a bit, as they both flow in and out of each other perfectly, this is the pure definition of a Pop song and just how it’s supposed to sound, it lifts your mood and it clings on to you and sticks with you.

If you’re looking for a super catchy, fun and energetic piece then this is the one for you, you don’t want to miss this.

Sarah Reynolds – I Need Love: Expressively Powerful RnB Pop

Sarah Reynolds

You’ll find plenty of minced words and sentiment on the airwaves, but with up and coming artist Sarah Reynold’s latest single “I Need Love” you get a fresh cut of emotion.

Sarah Reynolds’ expressively powerful take on an RnB gives you the same iron-wrought emotion of a traditional ballad. Yet I Need Love is a track which takes its own distinctive form through the modern stylistic instrumental arrangement and Sarah Reynold’s tensile evocative vocals.

The open and unabashed lyrics are transfixing from start to finish. No one really likes admitting that they need love; there’s a socially constructed sense of weakness which surrounds it. I Need Love forcibly blew those perceptions out of the water and served a sharp stark reminder that everyone needs love. With that in mind, I Need Love is undoubtedly one of the most powerful singles on the topic of love I’ve heard in a while. And what better date for it to be released on than Valentine’s Day?

I Need Love will be available to stream on all major platforms including Spotify from February 14th.

Sarah Khatami – Boy Toy featuring Myia Thornton: Playlist Worthy RnB

“Boy Toy” is the sixth magnetically hook-filled single to be released from breaking R&B artist Sarah Khatami. In the short time since her inception, she’s become renowned for her ability to inject vibrant new energy into the R&B genre.

While there may be some reminiscences of 90s R&B in her sound, the empowering vibes in her radio-ready tracks such as Boy Toy have well and truly earned their spot on contemporary airwaves.

With a bassline which will remind you of Arctic Monkeys iconic hit Do I Wanna Know?, Sarah Khatami’s dynamically flawless vocals, and the unfaltering conviction in the lyrics, Boy Toy is a playlist worthy hit. Bringing in Myia Thornton for a Rap verse ensured there was plenty of diversity in the track which continued to make seamless evolutions right from the prelude to the outro.

Sarah Reynolds releases their melodically striking Pop debut single “Strangers in the Dark”

“Strangers in the Dark” is the resonantly arrestive debut single from up and coming singer-songwriter, composer, and producer Sarah Reynolds. The melodically striking soundscape proves how well a single can be put together when an artist has complete control over the songwriting, performance and production process.

The UK-based artist has left the lyricism fairly simple to amplify the resonance which is now being appreciated by an international audience – there’s very little room to wonder why Sarah Reynold’s hasn’t failed to connect with her listeners and attract plenty of hype around her debut. Strangers in the Dark is poignantly captivating enough to ensure that the lyrics don’t feel like they’re scratching the surface of superficiality. Instead, Sarah Reynold’s raw and captivating talent invites you into an aural pool of candid emotion.

Sarah Sunday – Mental Zoo: an anthemically euphoric exploration of insanity

Exploring themes of insanity has been happening for a fair few decades in the more alternative genres, yet when it comes to Pop, the artists have been a little more reluctant to admit that no one is the perfect picture of sanity.

Sarah Sunday is the perceptibly fearless artist who has brought mental health into the narrative of the Pop scene with her latest single Mental Zoo. Yet, despite the sentiment behind the track, Mental Zoo retains the same anthemically euphoric edge of your more conservative EDM Pop hits. Sarah verses the lyrics with an innocently playful vocal approach which gives the track an incredibly distinctive edge while doing nothing to compromise the accessibility of the single.

Sarah Sunday – Come and Find Me: Up and Coming Pop Punk Royalty

Hit play on the official video to Sarah Sunday’s latest single “Come and Find Me” and it’s instantly perceptible that the up and coming Pop Punk star has an infinite amount of commercial appeal.

Any fans of Paramore are sure to find plenty of endearment in the punchy energy possessed by Sara Sunday. It’s not all too often that I can describe a track as ‘perfect’. But considering the sharpness of the hooks and the striking power contained within Sarah Sunday’s vocal range I’m left with very few other options on how to describe what she has cooked up with Come and Find Me.

If you can tear yourself away from her vocals, you’ll be able to enjoy the vibrant and tight instrumental arrangement which packs in plenty of anthemics. Along with chunky riffs and bendy basslines, you’ll also be able to appreciate sonic synth lines which give Come and Find Me a nice contemporary feel.

Sarah Thiele – Human: Twists of Electric Cacophony around Pure Pop-Rock Harmony

Folk Singer-Songwriter Sarah Thiele has just dropped her heart-wrenchingly bewitching new Pop Rock track Human, and I’m not sure I’ll ever get over it. I’m no stranger to veraciously empowering tracks, yet with Human, the connection to the message to the track was on a completely different level.

Sarah Thiele’s huskily dominant yet soft vocals perfectly portray the passion contained in the lyrics, not one syllable lingers in the superficial. All of that is before you get to the poignantly orchestrated composition of sound created. From soaring guitar riffs, to a pensive blast of pianist perfection it has it all.

Human is a rare track where you’re delighted by the extended duration of the song, as it progressively twists through its electric cacophonies of sound.
When you get to the finale of the track it’s hard to place your emotion against where it stood before you first checked out the track. Sarah Thiele’s sound puts other Pop-Rock artists to shame with her palpable purity and veracious energy.

You can check out Human which was first released in February 2018 on SoundCloud

You will fall for Sarah Hollins in a Heartbeat

https://youtu.be/nEs3ZviUxjk

Sarah Hollins is on a mission to remind us what pop music should be about. Forget the gimmicks, the marketing tricks, the style over substance that many of her rivals employ to hide the fact that they don’t have a particularly strong track, this girl bases her songs on one thing. Confidence. The beats drive hard, the grooves look you in the eye, challenging you not to move to the track…by the chorus you will be grooving some sultry footwork anyway so you might as well just get on with it from the start… and the vocals land powerfully and with intent.

She is a back to basics girl, she has figured out the key factors that make pop music so potent and used that knowledge to deliver perfect, state of the art, music of the moment, chilled, dance floor, future classics and Heartbeat is the result. Sometimes the simplest of plans reap the greatest results and this approach of just getting the core ideas locked down so that the rest will follow, is working perfectly for her and I think Sarah Hollins is a name which will soon be a fixture in the modern pop landscape.

R34L dawned a fresh era of alt-electronica with ‘NEW WAYS’

Trippy, transcendent, and rhythmically compulsive, the latest artfully orchestrated installation of alt-electronica, NEW WAYS, from the producer duo, R34L, comprising Sarah Hartman and Cason Trager is a cultivated vessel to spiritual ascension, wrapped in the aura of Lynchian reverie.

Hartman’s vocal lines harmonise with the divine high above the leftfield mix of electronica that will heighten any Portishead and Caroline Polachek-orientated playlists. The sense of soul that Hartman brings to the release in synergy with the lighter textures of the luxe track allows tides of catharsis to wash over you as the strong glitchy backbeat juxtaposes the lush layers with a sense of gravity that you’ll want to anchor yourself to time after time.

Whether you find your body beat to it or use it to slip into a sense of serenity by following the dreamlike progressions as they exit material reality, NEW WAYS defies ambivalence with its potent alchemy, which is likely to be extended through R34L’s upcoming 13-track LP, Falling in Place, which promises to place the listener in the unchartered middle-ground of indie-pop & club music.

NEW WAYS was officially released on May 10th; stream the single on all major platforms via this link.
