It’s simple, it’s fresh, it’s going straight on my Hip Hop playlist, it’s Marty Boombox’s latest track “Diamonds”. The up and coming MC dropped the track on September 13th, and honestly, you couldn’t ask for more from a Hip Hop artist. Considering that the underground scene is swamped with mumble Rap artists using excesses of distortion on their vocals, Marty Boombox’s bars were a breath of fresh air. The rhythm was relentless, you could hear the ingenuity of the lyrics unfold as he ran through with perfect command of meter and rhyme which were combined with the use of the female vocals which add harmony and soul to Diamonds.
