Marcus: The Apex Predator’s Latest Offering of Unapologetically Ingenious Alt Rock

‘The Fury of Almost (All or Nothing)’ is the latest Alt Rock single from Marcus: The Apex Predator and I can honestly say I’ve never heard anything like the genre mashed raucously eclectic track. Written into the mix are elements of Post Punk, Hardcore and Indie Rock, as you can expect the end result is absolute mixing pot of insanity. Which I’m pretty sure was the result that he powerhouse of artists were going for.

The song’s arrangement is sporadic, yet unflinching and seamlessly progressive as the guitars lead the way through the intricate breakdowns and hooks. There were a few points of total overwhelm in the track, but isn’t that just the sign of a good Hardcore track? I’d say so. Marcus: The Apex Predator may be the only band keeping the old Punk sound alive with their unapologetic approach to composing head-bending tracks.
