RZA fans, if you haven’t already got excited about MalikThaGod’s latest single Windows now is the time. The Salem-based up and coming Hip Hop Rap artist’s single stamped down plenty of authority through the angst-fuelled Rap years which flowed with the perfect amount of hype and momentum.
Yet, I couldn’t help but feel Windows would have been a more solid track if the lyrics carried a little more originality, it was pretty hard to resonate with any of the lyrics and in part they struck me as relatively typical for the genre. Yet, thanks to the experimentalism in the beat MalikThaGod was able to still spill plenty of pioneeringly fresh high octane energy into the mix. The tempo may be tentative to start, yet, there’s plenty of progressive twists to keep you hooked with MalikThaGod’s latest single which was dropped September 2018
