Fans of Trap and Sci-Fi may have struggled previously to indulge both of their interests at the same time. But with INFO BLACK’s latest Hip Hop drop “SCI-FI”, you get the clever fantastical imagery along with the contemporary Trap waves all wrapped together in a clever charismatic mix.
The light tonality of the ambient mix, packs in plenty of texture in the different layers of effects, yet SCI-FI never moves away from being a melodic immersive hit. INFO BLACK’s vocals run smooth and clean for the most part but with the perfect pinch of reverb to allow the vocals to synergise perfectly with the mix which was created with a little help from InfoTheProducer.
SCI-FI was just one of the tracks to feature on the cathartically fluid album “Scotty Too Hotty” which dropped on February 16th.
