Ghost Atlantic – Along Those Lines: Atmospherically Indulgent Post Rock

If you could imagine the intro to Echo and the Bunnymen’s “Killing Moon” colliding with the expressive spoken word lyrical style of John Grant and the melodic mesmerism of the 1975, you’d get an idea of how prodigally inspired Ghost Atlantic’s latest release is.

In true Post Rock style, they carved out their signature style through atmospheric indulgence which won’t fail to leave you with chills.  “Along Those Lines” is just one of the standout singles from the Seattle-based rhythmic powerhouse’s latest album “Down to My Last Million” which was released on January 26th, 2019. The reticently sweet progressive single stands as a testament to Ghost Atlantic’s organic style through which they capture the raw emotion in the lyrics and transform it into aural alchemy.
