NYC-based R&B artist Dventilate has recently dropped his latest single “Ocean”, now, when I say R&B, you might want to throw everything you’d anticipate from an R&B track out of the window. Because rather than creating an assimilation of an urban Soundscape you’ve encountered time and time again, Dventilate has proven that he may well be the prodigal son we’ve been waiting for.
The dynamic hit unfolds with a soft, soulful melody, it’s polished, it’s tranquil, and the cathartic effect is pretty damn potent! Under the synth-driven melodies is the rattle and snare curtesy from 808s in an archetypally Trap style ensuring Ocean is as fresh as it is deep. All of that is without mentioning the arrestingly smooth vocal capacity possessed by the up and coming artist.
