There are psychedelic soundscapes, then there’s what up and coming Folktronica artist D.P. Webster orchestrated in their latest single “Dolores’ Park”.
Psychedelia and Electronica don’t often go in hand, but with this track, they’re the perfect fit. If the Beatles had started out in 2019, I can imagine that Dolores’ Park is similar to what they’d cook up. There’s plenty of reminiscences found within the uplifting sentiment and tonality of the track along with the simple yet always welcome reminder to love each other and that our realities are subjective.
From the first time you hit play, you can truly appreciate the ethereal air which breezes through Dolores’ Park as D.P. Webster’s flawlessly harmonic vocals sit in perfect synergy with the colourful melodies.
