Ve The Verbal Emperor is definitely a Hip Hop Rap artist worthy of his name, his hauntingly beautiful debut track Razor gripped us like a vice with it’s perfectly orchestrated snares and layers of clean cut beats. The female vocalist’s icy vocals cut through the track like… well, like a razor. This chilling Hip Hop composition has made me all too excited for his next release, which will be dropped on March 4th, 2018. The Brooklyn, NY urban artist won’t be around on the underground for too much longer if he keeps putting out beats as solid as Razor, the way the Ve the Verbal Emperor breaks up the track with his own poetic flow is also worth of a notable mention. There’s clear passion, and raw brevity contained within his voice and his signature style that ties the sound together in one of the best slow-tempo Hip Hop duets I’ve heard this side of 1990.
