EDM Pop is dominating the airwaves right now, and another contender for chart positions is the up and coming New York-based Future Pop artist Trevor Knight with their latest single “Giving It Up”.
While the single is fairly archetypal, it still boasts an incredibly strong structure and command of melody which creates the perfect platform for Trevor Knight’s harmonised dynamic vocals. The lyrics stretch beyond the usual loose sentiment, allowing Giving It Up to unfold as a candid single with plenty of resonance to be found. The infusion of R&B also ensures that Giving It Up boasts a visceral rhythmic pull while the polished production gives the single a radio-ready feel.
