Tech House

Zizzo World reaches dizzying heights with his deep house single ‘Vertigo’ featuring Nick Sadler.

Zizzo World

For his latest single, ‘Vertigo’, London-based deep house producer Zizzo World teamed up with pop vocalist Nick Sandler to release a dizzying feat of future pop that has the potential to climb the charts as the number 1 Summer EDM pop anthem.

The build-ups and drops conceptualise the track as they embody a complete loss of control and gravity, while the vocals transform the tech house mix into a euphorically visceral anthem that you’ll want to rewind for the repeat shots of ecstasy that it effortlessly exudes.

With his atmospherically on-trend production style, Zizzo World has already racked up millions of streams on his previous releases. Vertigo will undoubtedly receive the same hype.

Vertigo officially released on May 14th. It is available to stream and download on all major platforms via this link.

Muscular – Auraraver: Synth Soul Food

Muscular’s debut electronica single is the aural equivalent of soul food. Synths may not be known for their soulful propensities, but in ‘Auraraver’, the ardent alchemy refuses to hide behind futurism.

Synths and basslines lead the way, and through the infusion of organic percussion, piano and guitar, the track quickly evolves from a dark hard-hitting feat of techno into a mix that will get you higher than Mind.in.a.Box’s iconic EBM track, 8-Bits. Through shimmering reverb and teasing build-ups that will leave you as eager for the drop as Infected Mushroom’s mind-melting mixes do, it’s safe to say that Auraraver will leave you hooked right through the extended duration.

Auraraver released on March 26th; you can hear it via Spotify.

Roman Cigi needs his ‘Voices’ to be heard.

One of the most innovative and cross-genre producers and DJ’s currently working the Ministry of Sound/Itaca/Paradiso circuit, Roman Cigi was born in Slovakia but now resides in London; that cross-European background serves him in good stead here with new single ‘Voices’, a perfect slice of old-school Euro-Deep House/Trance/Progressive House that’s both fresh and retro all at once.

Immediately, it sounds like all those massive 90’s Balearic bangers; Black Box, Seal & Adamski, and absolutely Blue Pearl’s “ Naked In The Rain”. Deep, breathy female vocals over thundering drum and bass, smack in the trancey-techno sweet-spot of 125 BPM. It’s a perfect clubby dance track, and – if Covid hadn’t crashed the party – deserves to be filling dancefloors all over the country this summer.

You can check out ‘Voices’ on Spotify; follow Roman Cigi here or on Instagram.

Zachary James & Rene Orth – Jabberwocky: A Harsh Electronica Sci-Fi Serenade

Electronica artists generally fall into two categories, the assimilators, and those who throw their authentic expression into their projects to create mind-blowing feats of indulgent insanity, ‘Jabberwocky’ from Zachary James’ 2020 album ‘Call Out’, definitely falls into the latter camp.

‘Jabberwocky’ is a theatrically enticing Sci-Fi laden hit which Zachary James created in collaboration with Rene Orth and Lewis Carroll. The progressive track runs through teasing melodic increments before crashing into tremulously bass-drenched Industrial electronica. It doesn’t matter which extreme the tempo is sitting at; you’ll be transfixed from start to finish in the mix which gives Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds a run for its money.

The multitalented artist’s experience as a Broadway actor discernibly fed into the monumental 7-minute visual single which becomes so much more than a soundscape as you embrace the chaos, imagination and cinematic style.

Jabberwocky is available to stream with the rest of the epic 25-tracker album via Spotify.

Get a shot of entrancing EDM ecstasy from YAZ’s fiercely sonic mix ‘Judgement’

Starting off with a fiercely sonic blast of Techno, YAZ’s standout track ‘Judgement’ from her 2020 EP Eternity will remind you why you fell in love with EDM in the first place. The entrancement, the aural ecstasy, the ability to surrender your rhythmic pulses and accept that for the next few minutes, the music is going to take control while your synapses become ensnared by the danceable high-octane beats.

The instrumental mix needs no lyrics to feed emotion or feeling. Unrelenting momentum blazes all throughout Judgement, instead of waiting for the drop, each second of the mix will implant euphoria.

Menna bring us quality uplifting track ‘Feel This Way’

https://soundcloud.com/mennaxmusic/feelthisway

Menna is here with lots of bouncy tech house on the new single with stunning male and female vocals on ‘Feel This Way‘.

This is all about having fun together and not taking things too seriously. Life is wild right now and falling in love is the last thing on your mind as you just want to enjoy yourself and be happy. This is a mainstream driven track with heavenly vocals, polished off with a heavy hitting, festival rocking drop. The beat is scrumptious and has zero assumptions. There is a contemporary style here that makes me want to dance all night, all sweaty on the dance floor.

Menna brings his a-game on this ripping beat that catches your attention all the way through. A marvelous fusion of powerful vocals really impresses all listeners and I love this fine track.

Feel This Way‘ from Menna is one of the best dance songs that have been released in 2020 due to the quality production. After the success of debut ‘Sunset‘, this should be a new favorite on playlists all over the world.

Digital Head morph the speakers into our brains on fantastic ‘To Whom it May Concern’

Electronica beats with a catchy flow is the name of the game here from the mysterious producer named Digital Head as he drops his latest album called ‘To Whom it May Concern‘.

Now living in Austin, Texas, Digital Head has used his platform wisely as an artist to contribute to indie creative projects, with his last album raising funds for charity donations. A fine deed indeed.

To Whom it May Concern‘ is the fantastic third album to come from the wildly wonderful experimental artist Digital Head. Viewing this album as the third installment of the trilogy, ‘To Whom it May Concern‘ progresses the personal story of Digital Head as well as considering the effects of the divisive politics currently at play in America, and in the world more widely.

Growing up playing piano and drums, Digital Head has always had a fierce passion for creating great music. Releasing his first single at the age of 15 as an indie artist, he has since gone on to release two albums.

The highlights of this powerful album are definitely ‘Without You‘, ‘Permission‘ and ‘I Surrender‘. The beat is hauntingly ominous and the vocals stunning. You feel like you are in a different world and floating in the sky like a skydiver who just cruises in the air. My body feels relaxed and I let the beat take me to a different world. The skills on the production are quite wonderful.

Digital Head’s ‘To Whom it May Concern‘ is a tech house/edm wonder-wall of beauty and thoughtfulness. This is music that needs to be in movies and this is cinematic dream. One of the best albums of 2020 in the dance category without doubt.

‘Soup and Chili’ from BahbissCobb is an electronic journey of darkness

Bahbiss Cobb is the solo project of Eric Curry and he has just returned with his new moody electronic track called ‘Soup and Chili‘.

After being in the game doing electronic music for around 12 years, you can feel the experience in this producers music. He has made his own signature beat that certainly delves into your ears and takes you a journey.

The beats are dark and gloomy. They match the song’s cover art as this is all about what is going on in the world as we speak. The energy is underground with a tech house feel. This is all about what we are doing to the world and feel like I am floating over earth while listening to this, my expression is of shock as the world is so tainted.

Soup and Chili‘ from Bahbiss Cobb is a wild ride into the dark side with electronically charged energy that will amaze your heart.

Atlanta-based EDM artist and producer Darth Athena has recently dropped their most entrancing track to date, Polyzap.

It wasn’t long before the high-energy futuristic mix quickly garnered plenty of acclaim from Techno, Tech House and Trance fans alike. Even without clubs to hit, the galvanising track became a playlist staple for anyone looking for a rhythmically hypnotic track to sink into.

The style, structure and execution of the extended-length are typical from what you can expect from Darth Athena, but with Polyzap, they created their most distinctive and daring track yet.
