Things change in a split second: Mr Hidden Treasure drops inspirational story of grit and determination to conquer any obstacle on ‘How When Why What’

Mr Hidden Treasure is a man who’s life turned upside down last year in more ways than one and he shares his story of powering on via his new single ‘How When Why What‘.

Southampton-based producer, singer-songwriter, metal detecting fan, and widowed Dad, Aaron Kesby, has reinvented himself and goes by the artist name of Mr Hidden Treasure. He is a single father of four kids who unfortunately lost his loving partner to cancer last year and has dealt with this pandemic and looking after his kids alone. This is an inspiring movie-like story that shows how music can be a guiding light and take you out of the darkness to places you never thought existed.

The epic euphoric beat strides in and we are soon introduced to a hungry emcee that raps with a flow that is easy on the ear. This is a real artist that isn’t faking anything. He speaks on what he sees and hears, this is a man with a burning desire to make top music and always keep it real.

In a universe full of too many flashy posers, this is a welcome relief in a world that is locked down with no end in sight.

The man with a heart of gold, detected that he needed a distraction from the pain he felt inside and also to fill his heart with a new passion to make his kids and her proud. Mr Hidden Treasure has certainly achieved that on ‘How When Why What‘. The new journey has just begun.

Rest in peace Dolly. Aaron is looking after the kids and making incredible music that you would be so proud of.

”This One’s For You” is a sad tale of heartbreak from Cat Rose

UK based singer/songwriter/aspiring producer, Cat Rose returns with her 2nd single ”This One’s For You”. Reflective & truthful, Cat’s new song is a powerful Pop single all about losing the one that we used to love. Sometimes breakups are tough to handle but they need to happen in order to move on.

This One’s For You” is the follow-up to 2019’s ”Money” which was her debut track. I like Cat Rose’s style, she is very creative and likes pushing the boundaries. The build up is big for this song and the result is certainly fantastically executed. The hook is haunting, you feel Cat’s pain of being let down and of hearing excuses from her former lover. Her vocal ability is endless and the way she keeps the attention of the listener in a such a simple way, is so great to see. I could see Cat Rose on a Rock, Hip Hop or Folk song, she seems to have such a variety of skills stored away in her locker.

This is a young performer who is testing the waters and bringing out some progressive music ,while looking very stylish at the same time with lots of hairstyle changes. With a loyal fan base looking after her back, Cat is one of the new upcoming UK female artists that are going to start dominating the scene very shortly.

With her pure voice, touching lyrics and constant creativity, Cat is merely scratching the surface with her talent, which will be seen and heard globally in a very big way. I hope that the gifted Cat Rose is put onto some awesome festival lineups in the near future, she will most certainly impress.

Stream this great track on Cat’s Spotify and don’t look back.

Kateshia Marie rockets into our hearts with R&B independence anthem ”Immune”

UK based R&B singer Kateshia Marie is back with her signature positive message music and it’s an anthem of note with ”Immune”. Taking the power away from those who don’t deserve it is the message here, not letting them get too close and to stay in your lane. This is your life and you choose what to do with it.

Besides being a supremely talented vocalist, I really like Kateshia’s real message. This is a young artist who is still finding her feet in the crazy music game and figuring out what kind of music she wants to put out. I really hope that she stays in this kind of style, real and with such maturity. Too often, talented singers get a bite of fame and the taste leads them to change their ways abruptly, which in turns means their music and message does a complete u-turn.

Immune” is a strong single from Kateshia Marie, who along with having an awesome name, is a singer on the rise in the UK. I’d love to see her on a lineup with Mahalia or Jorja Smith in the future to help get her name out there more.  Kateshia Marie has everything going for her musically. The question is, can she get the right team formulated in her corner, to take her up a notch so that she can fully flourish and inspire the masses to take control of their lives too.

Jack Tinner – Teenage Revelry: Melodically Ethereal Acoustic

Will I ever tire of that angelically acoustic sound? Probably not, especially when there are still prodigally poignant artists emerging such as Jack Tinner.

Teenage Revelry may be his first single released, but it’s already perceptible that he’s found his signature style in his lightly melodic ethereal composition.  The Manchester, UK-based recording artist has the ability to create an overwhelmingly powerful yet tentative energy through his sound, perhaps that has a little something to do with the fact that he captured a sentiment through his lyrics which we can all relate to. Through the lyrics of Teenage Revelry Jack Tinner perfectly captures the nostalgia of your innocence, whether your childhood was one to get reminiscent about or not, the overall alchemy of the track won’t fail to resonate.

You can check out Jack Tinner’s debut single out for yourself by heading over to Spotify now.

Connect with Jack Tinner on Facebook and keep up to date with the latest releases of his melodically genius singles.  I have a feeling we’ll be hearing a lot more from him in the future with his already radio-ready sound.

Tania Ilyashova -A gentle sound clash of genres

Like all the best music, it is hard to pigeonhole Pull Me Closer in terms of genre and style. It may be easy to identify certain core musical building blocks, soul, ambient piano, R&B sophistication, emotive world vibes, pop balladry, but they are so deftly wound through each other, so well spliced that the result is a natural, new and unique style. Tania Ilyashova is an expert at taking existing sounds and bending them to her musical will and the result is just gorgeous.

As a calling card for her recent e.p. Travelling Light, this track is like a beacon to guide discerning music fans through the dangerously hard to navigate waters that modern pop and R&B has become, a reassurance that there is a rewarding and safe place to head for. Here they will find music which has an understanding of the musical roots of such genres, which is blended seamlessly in a new and sublime fashion and then serves these musical traditions and creative threads for a whole new audience. Ambient yet groovesome at the same time, and in Tania’s hands it feels effortless.
