Gary Dewar is quite excellent on his debut electronic offering and this one will pull on your heart strings but eventually lift you into a better place on ‘No More Tears‘.

Mysterious Scottish music producer Gary Dewar somehow balances a full time job, being a Dad to young kids and finds time to make atmospheric edm soundscapes with that rhythmical bounce to lift you off your feet.

The wonderful mysterious female vocals are so sweet on the ear- like getting a kiss on the cheek from a crush you truly care about. The busty bass flies on upwards with wings that are wide and makes you float in the sun-filled sky, looking down at this crazy world and having a cheeky grin planted on your face as you get away for a short while.

The story about not crying anymore and the tears has dried up as its time to move on from the past. Sometimes we need a little bit of motivation to rise again and this is the perfect tonic. Crystal clear vocals with skilled production is the order of the day here on a terrific single that is full of class and poise.

Debut Spotify release ‘No More Tears‘ from soulful Scottish producer Gary Dewar is an indie-electro single with so much stylish sonic landscape that it puts you into a mood to get up again after falling down.

Life is better with the right mindset: Scottish DJ Cherry Joy drops an absolute dance gem on ‘Let It Go’

Cherry Joy is ready for whatever comes her way on the bass heavy gem via dance/edm track called  ‘Let It Go‘.

Cherry Joy is a supremely talented and self-motivated female singer-songwriter and radio DJ based in Edinburgh, Scotland. After dealing with being made redundant due to this horrific pandemic recently, she is a role model to us all by pushing hard to find new work, while also putting in 100% to get her long-awaited music career off the ground.

This is what she absolutely loves and feels this deep inside her soul. After studying music after school, she got into the normal work way of life and left music behind until 2018. Then, deep inside she felt the urge to get back into it and slowly but surely, the hunger and fire has built up to a stage where it feels like she truly believes in herself and this is her time.

Her stunning vocals grab your heart and take you for an exuberant ride. The real lyrics are a pleasure to hear as this is authentic dance music that is so rare in this genre. The obvious honesty and consistently excellent beat gets you into a happy but thoughtful groove; as you turn your lights off and all self-doubt away from anywhere close to you.

There is so much to love here and when clubs and festivals come back from the darkness, they need to book a DJ of this calibre to kick the crowd up to top gear and get them dancing all night to this.

Life is about just going for it and not worrying about material things. Scottish DJ/singer-songwriter Cherry Joy shows so much self-awareness on the top quality ‘Let It Go‘ and you can see why this is her favourite release so far.

The scary part is that she is only getting warmed up. This outstanding musician has the inner motivation and nothing can stop her doing what she loves.

Keeping it real: Scottish songwriter/bassist Realer blocks out the noise to ‘Stay Rad’

Realer urges us all to stay cool and do what we can in order to stay sane during these wild times on the bass-driven music video for ‘Stay Rad‘.

Ricky Cocozza aka Realer is a self-motivated Glenrothes, Scotland-based indie-pop singer-songwriter and bassist who has taken it on himself to create music and not rely on anyone else. He is on a path to learning new skills each day and his drive and determination is rather inspiring.

With a massive 80’s and modern synth-pop feel grabbing your heart and with bass guitar melodies to make you look twice, combined with an honest touch of realness; there is so much to love on this catchy new single.

His lyrics about YouTube addiction, getting wrapped up for a while in the news and not living in fear, strikes a chord in your mind and you finding yourself nodding your head in agreement.

This is a song you can groove to and have a laugh at the same time. He doesn’t take himself overly serious and this is a relief to the senses and the fun lyrics combined with a positive attitude, is exactly what the world needs more of. With a vibrant voice and a funky bass together intertwined, this is an artist that drops the truth mic on the ground to much applause.

Stay Rad‘ from Scottish bassist/singer-songwriter Realer is a true story of how we need to keep it together, stay creative and distract the wondering mind from all the nonsense around. Keeping your mind sane is the number one priority and having a bit of fun while reaching your goals helps your mindset too.

Searching for your freedom: Augustus Breeze and Sophie Penman are excellent on ‘Dreaming’

Taken off the new two-track EP ‘Ex Nihilo‘, Augustus Breeze and Sophie Penman combine their electrifying chemistry to wonderfully satisfying results on ‘Dreaming‘.

Sophie Penman is a soulfully sweet singer-songwriter based in Edinburgh, Scotland and is joined on this stunning single by Kamran Afshar aka Augustus Breeze– who is a fellow Edinburgh-based music producer. Together they form a fantastic duo who have recently been awarded the prestigious ‘Track of the Week’ on BBC Introducing Scotland.

This is the splendidly explained story of how some people just don’t make sense when you try and work them out. They are leaving now and you know that you need to move to be truly happy and free yourself. Life comes at you with detours sometimes and you need to be fleet-footed and stay in your own lane, until they want to drive with you again.

Their combination of alluring RnB and soulful Jazz breezes mistily through your curious speakers to catch your sense’s attention, as you breathe in that heartfelt sound that your body has missed.

Her elegant style is matched by a sultry voice that makes your head and neck shake in agreement that is that genuine sound of an underground music goddess. The way she controls her tone is masterful and the groovy bass meshed marvelously with the pure production- puts your mind into a sonic sphere that gives your soul a massive hug.

Shine on and go for your dreams: The Crom make an instant classic with ‘Outside Your Window’

The Crom neatly wrap up an inspirational indie-rock story for us to savor and play to those who need a fresh perspective on ‘Outside Your Window‘.

The Perth, Scotland-based four-piece alt-indie band have such an optimistic outlook and their style feels like a 90’s outfit who have been frozen in time. The magnificent melodies transfix your curious mind and you can’t help but sing with them and enjoy each second of this.

With their debut album set for an April or May 2021 release, this is an exciting act that are on a magnificent mission to spread their message to all corners of the globe.

His voice is so effortless and smooth, each word grabs your attention and is complemented by a sound that starts of atmospheric and only rises to the clouds from there.
