Mentoring youth and making beats: Atlanta based Hip Hop artist One Deuce urges us all to ‘Neva Leave Empty Handed’

Atlanta’s multi-skilled producer and Hip Hop artist One Deuce rips the door open with the truthful new single named ‘Neva Leave Empty Handed‘.

One Deuce is always looking to evolve, innovate, help the youth, and get his music out to as many ears as possible. With this kind of constant self-motivation, its easy to see why he is a well-respected creative, and a strong pillar of hope in his local community.

With the shaker start that reminds you of Christmas, to a rap delivery that is so unlike many of his contemplates these days. His style is old school and reminds us of the 80’s and 90’s era where arguably the genre was at its peak and loved the world over. The smooth rap technique is highly impressive, and the consistency adds a welcome distraction from the gloomy nature of 2020.

This is a musician who feels like he is at the top of the food chain and has so much confidence in his ability. He slings a rhythm that is full of gun shots in the sample and a thumping beat that busts through the speaker, to make a cup full of ear-ringing swag for our hearts.

His Mama told him to never leave without what you came for and this is quality advice. If you set your goals high enough you can certainly achieve them but it won’t be a piece of cake. In a reactionary and ‘want it quick’ world, this is a song that is simple and smart in execution.

Neva Leave Empty Handed‘ from Atlanta’s One Deuce is a street banger that is all about taking that one chance. You might not get too many opportunities in this Walking Dead kind of world so getting your cheese when you can, is the key to life’s refrigerator.

Speaking up on mental health: French alt-metal band ODC roar in with the demon-destroyer ‘I Don’t Know You’

Headed up by lead singer Celia Do, ODC fire their way to our hearts with lots of heavy 8 string guitars, fast-paced electronic sounds and moody melodic vocals that will leave you feeling inspired again.

The electric shock of a start is like a medic doing CPR on a passed out patient. You will feel almost breathless and a few sips of fluid will be needed.

This is all about trying your best to stay above water during this horrific time as the world bends into an unrealistic Rick & Morty type of world that was unimaginable a few years ago. There are so many temptations out there to hold onto and some are good but so many more are bad for you, and only sinks you further into the sinkhole of the downward spiral.

Her voice is so powerful and the spectacular synergy is forcefully dynamic; you can see the sparks flying off the guitar strings. The vocals are lit with a fuse and these make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up to attention as she weaves her way with her band’s full backing.

ODC speak up about real issues which are an admirable characteristic in anyone’s book. ‘I Don’t Know You’ is about wanting to know yourself again and what your dreams and goals really are. In a world full of mistrust and innuendos, the French alt-metal outfit pull the blanket off the self-doubt and show us that it’s okay to feel pain. If you talk about it and ask for help, there will be a kind face to help you no matter what. You can destroy your demons if you believe you can.

Leading the way during troubled times: ‘Ill’ by RABArtist is the relevantly self-aware anthem from one of the UK’s best

The breath-taking start lifts you up high into the gloomy sky, and you feel like this is going to be a pumping track with plenty of bluster. This notion is proved correct as the thudding beat with much promise and galaxy-sounding vocals, soon brings us into this powerfully real story. The UK Emcee and Actor, RABArtist is healthy and hungry on his newly dropped single called ‘Ill‘.

With a skillful production that pushes through the door from the patient musician, this is a fast-paced melody of mad skills that morphs on the mic with fluid energy. He raps about relevant topics that have taken over our lives and distracted the world from more important issues, now swept under the carpet and mostly forgotten. Issues such as 5G and Corona is all the papers and news talk about, only magnifying the growing frustration with lack of proper leadership at the top of the food chain.

Life was good and now the doom and gloom masks what is really going on, this is song that needs to be on all Hip Hop playlists to spread the message. With most Rappers carrying on per usual with lame raps about flashy cars on ego-boosting nursery rhymes, this is that adult type of music for the real music fans. With R&B, Grime and Drill influences, the beat is busty and fresh, with real care and compassion so evident.

The bars here are so refreshingly ‘Ill‘ and RABArtist leads the way with the call for level-heads to prevail and stop the current disillusionment, and frustration in the UK right now. Staying positive and bringing up important topics to help instigate change, is the sign of a true leader after all.
