Pull Me Closer: Jimmy Theo wonders why we lose ourselves sometimes on Pray for Us (feat. Matthew Clark)

Taken from his brand new 10-track album Next Step, Jimmy Theo wants to talk closer to his love on the body-swaying single about keeping things calm romantically despite the chaos amongst the windy trees of life with Pray for Us (feat. Matthew Clark).

Jimmy Theo is a UK/Australian indie singer-songwriter and music producer who makes meaningfully substantial music to make everything okay again.

After previously featuring on our platform via the memorable The End Of Time in 2020, Jimmy Theo is in top form here. Goodness me. This has real quality in droves.

Pray for Us from the multi-creative and artist-collaborating Jimmy Theo is a gem of a track made for all indie fans all over the world. Helping us forget our fears and find ourselves again after past romantic blunders, this is a stress-evaporating soundtrack to ease the anxiousness away into the wind.

Well done Jimmy. This is a special track for everyone who loves the solo singer-songwriter vibe. Turn it up okay?

Heir to the St Louis rap scene, K!NG QUE, created alt-hip-hop ‘Perfection’ in his latest single, ft Zaetheone, Daemon & Von Mitch

For his latest single, Perfection, the prodigal son of alt-hip hop, K!NG QUE (AKA the Melodic Rebel), joined creative forces with Zaetheone, Daemon & Von Mitch and took over the St. Louis rap scene in the process.
Seeing barriers as sonic constraints to unshackle himself from, K!NG QUE created sultry groove-slicked production that exhibits the alchemy that breeds between the contrasting and complementary vocal timbres while the body-rocking beats and melodies to perpetually ascend in the RnB and Reggaeton wrapped mix. Very few contemporary hits have what it takes to take you to the heights Perfection does.
The dynamic versatility reverberating at its core is the evolution hip-hop was crying out for. From ethereal female vocal lines to rap bars with a cadence that punctuates the mix as much as the basslines to euphoric builds to just as galvanising breaks, Perfection just keeps on giving.

Roman. & Ella Shreiner brought the intensity out in each other in the HipHop/EDM Pop mash-up ‘Mortality’.

In the most momentous hip hop & EDM pop mash-up of the year Roman. and Ella Shreiner brought a brand-new intensity out in each other. ‘Mortality’ is just one of the tracks to feature on Roman.’s debut album, Own World (20 Pages); icons have ended up on the hip hop map for far less.

After an immediate introduction to the soul in Shreiner’s vocal timbre, the single picks up even more gravity when Roman.’s realism-soaked bars kick in. Instead of launching scathing attacks on the usual insidious aspects of our existence, the up-and-coming rapper kept it resonant by highlighting the flaws in the hoop-jumping music industry, in turn, he gave the promise that he will always keep it real.

cee cooked up a salacious storm in her dark RnB single, IN MY BED, featuring Dohm.

For her latest sultry dark RnB single, IN MY BED, up and coming artist, cee collaborated with rap artist Dohm, who brought a transfixing dynamic to the release. IN MY BED gives you both sides of the story in a stormy, torrid love affair, the kind that thrives on sexual energy, but in the cold light of day, the differences are too stark to maintain the spark.

You couldn’t ask for a more transfixing dark, trappy RnB hit; with the slick and atmospheric production paired with cee and Dohm’s collaborative chemistry, we fell for it, melodic hook, line and sinker.

If any indie RnB artist has what it takes to climb the charts, our money is on cee.

IN MY BED is now available to stream on Spotify.

Cultures collide in Gullypabs and Trizzac’s Drill track ‘Zone 2 in Spain’

‘Zone 2 in Spain’ is the chill-inducingly dominant Drill track by South East London artist, Gullypabs, and Spanish Drill trailblazer, Trizzac. Despite its very recent release, it’s well on its way to going viral.

There’s ferocity behind each venom-laced syllable as collaborative chemistry effervesces between the dual Rap bars. To create the perfect platform as cultures collide in this gritty yet sun-soaked hit which runs through with blissfully escapism-aiding exoticism, the melodic beats are minimalistic but serve to create a grippingly intense atmosphere which will hook you in from the first scathingly charismatic verse.

If the grind in this heated hit doesn’t you adrenalized, you can assume that you’re a little dead inside.

You can check out the official video which dropped on November 18th via YouTube.

Lavi$h teamed up with LL$ and Oladiupo Ogunmola to create their hazily trippy Indie Hip Hop debut single “Melodies”

For their debut single “Melodies”, breaking Rap artist Lavi$h teamed up with LL$ & Oladiupo Ogunmola to create a freshly dynamic accessible Hip Hop hit. The tones are intoxicating, and the vibe couldn’t be sweeter.

The melodically trippy feat of downtempo Hip Hop practically demands a spot on your vibe out playlists from the first listen. The polished yet hazy production is all too easy to sink into while the vocals ensure that you’re treated to a track which boasts a smorgasbord of progressive immersive appeal.

There’s plenty of soul projected in the mix, but that didn’t mean that Lavi$h had to hold back on the amount of attitude poured into the slick contemporary drop.

Rep has dropped their resiliently inspiring Rap track “Mighty Men” featuring Tramel, MNPLY and True Justice

Breaking US Rap artist Rep has recently dropped their game-changer of a collaborative EP But He is Strong. While each track is a hit, the standout track Mighty Men contains the inspiring resilience which we all undoubtedly need to hear more of right now.

It’s in the media’s best interest to make things seem bleak. Yet, with Mighty Men, Rep illustrated that in light of current disparity, not everyone is living in fear. There’s something incredibly powerful about hearing the convictive repetition of “I ain’t scared” around intellectually inspired introspection.

The lyrics may be grounding, but ultimately, Mighty Men EP oozes an adrenalizing, empowering energy. Anticipate a smorgasbord of emotions to be invoked when you hit play on the slick and solid contemporary feat of Hip Hop.
