If you love nothing more than to get lost in the hypnotic grips of relentless and unfathomably arrestive angular guitar riffs, look no further than the latest Indie Pop single “COLOURS” from the incredibly promising up and coming artist “SURGE”.
The energy which SURGE alchemically conjured in COLOURS was reminiscent of what you would expect from the National, the Walkmen, and Arcade Fire. So, it comes as no surprise that SURGE has already made their way onto the line ups of Isle of Wight Festival and Reading. As you listen to their latest single unfold, you’re left with that unshakable affirmation that they’ve got ‘it’, the ‘it’ you can never quite put into words, but the ‘it’ which will make your chest feel a little tighter.
