Raise My Voice is the latest single released by up and coming Alt Indie Acoustic artist Nic Darwin. His sonically angelic soundscapes are amplified beyond what you would usually expect from the Folk arena, so naturally, the ballad was alive with visceral, perfectly polished energy which was an absolute to get lost within.
The extended bluesy guitar riffs are as much of a pleasure to get lost in as the vocals. As you’d expect from a track Raise My Voice, there’s plenty of strength contained in Nic Darwin’s vocal styling which almost allows the track to veer across to the Pop Punk arena, yet the inclusion of violins in Raise My voice bring a classically ethereal effect which you don’t hear all too often these days. Thanks to the slightly extended duration of the track you’re treated to a progressively acoustic aural wonder.
