Just when I thought there were no soundscapes with the capacity to leave me speechless left, I had the pleasure of discovering Skon Flynn’s playfully charismatic track “Music from the Fifty Shades”. Thankfully, I can offer the reassurance that the single has been executed with far more style, creativity and ingenuity than what E. L. James could have ever poured into the books.
The EDM K-Pop hit is a flawless offering of futuristic, rhythmic electronica which creates the perfect platform for Skon Flynn’s magnetically deep vocals in the verses. When the chorus breaks the vibrancy of the single peaks and Skon Flynn’s vocals effortlessly stretch to the high notes to create a sticky sweet earworm which you aren’t likely to forget in a hurry.
