Whilst there is no shortage of up and coming artists producing romantically inclined tracks, many fall at the first hurdle by composing a beat which serves to tell a story or express an emotion and failing to allow that feeling to resonate within the listener. With his latest single “Sleeping Beauty” Lucas James proved to be a refreshing exception. With Sleeping Beauty Lucas composed an immersive, expressive Pop ballad which carries a cathartic amount of Urban ambience.
Sleeping Beauty is the first track from the emerging artist’s upcoming EP “Nocturnal”, having already made a promising debut with his first single, it’s hard to imagine that the London-based Alt Pop artist will struggle when it comes to getting the attention his radio-ready hits deserve.
