It would seem that R&B has just been given the ultimate face lift from the sensational emerging artist Lizzy Ashliegh after the release of her latest single Feel. Mixing roots with contemporary electronic elements, Ashliegh created a succinctly sonorous beat which bleeds euphoric empowerment. Her melodic, yet high-vibe approach to sound incorporates aspects from a myriad of genres including Dub, Indie Electro Pop & Jazz to create a truly conceptual sound; the main driving influence behind her new release was taken from Michael Jacksons ‘Do You Remember the Time’. Whilst I can’t say I’m much of a Jackson fan, it’s far too easy to fall for Ashliegh’s sultry, subtle yet at the same time domineering sound, with immersive build ups and drops Feel would sound as sensational on a dancefloor as it does through headphones.
