Jayden Orenda – Family: A Sticky-Sweet Prog House Slow Jam

Most of the time, you don’t need to be informed that a track was made with DIY production. The Lo Fi discord is usually a pretty big give away. Yet, with “Family”, Jayden Orenda latest home-production the sound was as clean as it comes. The humble Indie-Pop anthem carries an up-vibe eccentricity which let’s face it, there’s not enough of that around on the soundwaves right now. Given that Family is only two minutes long, it doesn’t seem likely that there will be a lot of progression in the track. Yet, the jangly soulful indie rhythm builds up to an immersive deconstructed Prog House mix which any fans of Chet Faker will need to check out.
