Fusing together the best elements of Indie, Pop, and Hip Hop was nothing short of a genius move from D’Meetri and their latest single “Pretty Marie” which keeps the progression of the single simple and the hooks sharp. While beat may have lacked structure and solidity in parts there was plenty of endearment to be found within the fractured melodies and smooth mellifluous vocals; so if you’re looking for a smooth and candidly romantic jam, look no further.
The track which saw its debut on March 30th, 2019 offered plenty of accessibility within the soft and sweet ambience and teases the prospect of the great releases from D’Meetri which are still yet to come.
