Here to prove there is little more awe-inspiring than someone completely embracing their autonomy is the Mexican American singer-songwriter, MUA and entrepreneur Ozzie Aguilera and his latest Latin Jazz-Pop single, Nasty Boy.

The soulfully unapologetic single delivers the eloquent reminder that everyone you meet will have their own narrative of you, but yours is the only one that is true and that carries any weight. The light year colour-seeped melodies give Nasty Boy an almost dream-like feel, while Ozzie Aguilera wraps his sultry vocal dynamism around the well-metered swoon-some canter of the lyrics.

Since his 2019 debut, Noah Fabray has broken 1 million Spotify streams on his seminal single, House Bunni, been added to more than 5,000 playlists to date, and now he’s here with his vibey-est single to date, Miami.

Perfectly capturing the atmosphere of the hazy hot climate, Miami efficaciously feeds RnB meets Latin electronica heat to fans that have already lasciviously lapped up the synthesised nectar that drips from the minimalist charisma-driven release.

Far from your average try-hard Summer single, Miami is yet another organic testament to Fabray’s ability to alter the listener’s reality with sensual style, simplistic beats and synth wrapped in lush reverb.

A1 Ali is fresh from the release of yet another flawlessly evocative fusion track that melds hip hop, RnB, pop and Latin to bring authentic world music vibes along with an earwormy structure that almost demands that you give the sun-kissed track repeat attention.

The Bahamas born artist poured plenty of timeless soul into the rhythmically exotic track, which comes with an intimate indie feel, thanks to the production that leaves the raw elements incredibly visceral as the lyrics that flit between salacious lust and old school romanticism.

The Bahamas-born artist spent some time in Santiago de Cuba before perusing his goal of becoming a global sensation. Based on Mia, we’d say he is well on his way to reaching the heights he’s aiming for.

“The Concept of You, and the upcoming album, came about from a challenge from my partner. She, a listener of neo-soul and jazz, challenged me to pare my usually elaborate and busy musical style down to something more organic, soulful, and pretty.

The result was a series of love songs encompassing many different facets of love. The single refers to her, the sepia-toned memories of summers, the roots we have put down together, and the love for home.

These themes felt especially important after a long period punctuated by isolations, introversion, and cabin fever. It’s accentuated by nylon guitar strings, cascading violins, gentle pianos, and the frailties and soul of harmonised vocals. In supporting the themes of roots, home, and love, the album is paired with visuals romanticizing wintertime in Toronto.”

Taken off her classy new 4-track EP release that is filled with such beautiful melodies which will have your mind in such a happy place again, Chenza is quite exceptional on the story about feeling like you are being used by someone who doesn’t actually care about your feelings on ‘La Bambola‘ (Patty Pravo Cover).

Chenza aka Chenza Puno, is an excellent indie singer-songwriter, vocalist of rock band Room 4 and music duo Restless Balloons. and daughter of the late-great music icon Rico J. Puno, who was a Filipino singer, television host, actor, comedian and politician.

The West Covina, California-born, Metro Manila, Philippines-raised and Los Angeles, California-based Chenza shows us her stunning voice – and that admirable fiercely independent attitude flowing from her veins – that has her in peak form with a dazzling display that is quite mesmeric at times. You seem to fall in love with her angelic voice that sends shivers down your spine, as you hope that she may find that extraordinary soul who truly values her as the strong woman she is.

‘La Bambola‘ (Patty Pravo Cover) from the elegant indie singer-songwriter and guitarist Chenza, is a real story for the ages that has been brought to life again by a young artist who is an old soul. Since his 2019 debut, the Latino pop artist YXani has garnered plenty of hype with his intrinsically evocative signature style. His latest release, Son Igual, is a downtempo RnB ballad that lets sun-kissed tones bleed into the mix as a contrast to the melancholic undercurrent that flows right through this modernist contribution to the airwaves.

Unilingual English minds may not be able to easily abstract the meaning from the Spanish lyrics, but that does little to harken the emotional intensity of the stylish and soulful release.
