A&R Factory Present: Hive Riot

Rooted in the Beehive State, but stretching to Manhattan, London, New orleans and Nashville, Hive Riot is a synthy, dance-fueled party hosted by the electric alchemy that is Dustin Gledhill and Mindy Gledhill.

Dustin was a Classical prodigy piano virtuoso, performing with symphonies by the age of seven. Mindy is an eight-year multi-album indie-pop darling. The two of them together are the sound of letting go. And, in that letting go, you hear the sound of celebration, of liberation.

This Track was produced by Pleasant Pictures (Eric Robertson).

A&R Factory Present: Bird Concerns

Bird Concerns began in 2012 as an acoustic collaboration between songwriters Travis Meador, Marcus Buser, and Cooper Wolken. The band has since developed into an electric quintet, blending interlocking guitars with syncopated grooves, and rich vocal harmonies. While the members’ backgrounds in classical and jazz music shine through complex arrangements and subtle layers, Bird Concerns’ songwriting is deeply rooted in American pop and rock music. The outcome is a unique and finely crafted sound, which plays upon the listener’s expectations to create a relatable yet surprising experience.

The band is currently living in Los Angeles and performing at a wide range of venues, from bars and house shows to more notable venues such as the Bootleg and the Troubadour. Bird Concerns has released one self titled EP, and is set to release their debut LP ‘Til Morning Comes’ in the summer of 2016.

Their song “Can You Tell” Is coming out May 3rd and it is about the sobering realization that what once was may no longer be.

A&R Factory Present: A+A

A musical duo based out of NY, who started originally writing, producing, mixing for other musical acts and decided to leave that world and do it all themselves. Their philosophy states, “There are no rules or guidelines when it comes to making music because it is all subjective, but as humans, our likes and dislikes are all over the place.”

A+A is a musical representation of exactly that. They make the music they love to listen to and inspires them which has a broad range of literally every genre. They have Roots of Classical, Jazz, Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, Folk, Country, Electronic… Pretend all those genres had a baby, thats A+A.

“The song Changes is about faith, and just speaking into existence that even though you aren’t where you wanna be in life, things will get better. It’s a prayer. The video goes hand in hand because it portrays a group of friends just living and going through a day together soaking in the world. A day in the life of people just going through it.”
